Alright peeps the Utopia 8WM’s are in.

Still waiting on some more treatment but will do that later when it ships out.

Treated the door cards around 3am last night didn’t remove old harmony CLD from door cards (you couldn’t pay me to do that).

Nvx silicone baffles (to protect from water, old SI magnet and vents had rust all up in the guts).

Everything leading up to installation (all the treatment and prep) was fun but actual install (especially the door cards) was not fun.

Overall with no tune and random 65-400hz crossover it is punchy as hell, and a good bit louder than the tm65s.
Currently for the price I paid I think they were worth it, but paying retail 2800$ definitely not.

Got a new laptop coming in tomorrow for tuning and 3d scanning for the accord amp rack (stay tune…)

Making progress on the treatment redo for the utopias.

Pulled off most of the harmony CLD (biggest PITA ever), bought new block off plates since the old ones had CLD covering the entire piece and removing butyl is too much effort for some chunks of plastic.

Designed a full screw on plate that covers the massive hole in the plates (gonna shave down styrofoam on door card).

My fingers and back despise me right now so gonna work on the door cards inside tomorrow.

Scooped up a pair of 8WMs.... I think my addiction is starting to get out of hand 😂

Old tm65s for a lil comparison.

Tossed the sql 15” into the full sq truck for the weekend.

Was even smoother and more enjoyable since I didnt have the PHAT rattles in the Silverado compared to my accord.

Truck is mad dirty, and so is the box (UPS kinda punted the box or something so it needs some tlc)

Designed and printed up some more managers this time for the resonix Solderless RCA’s

Picked up a SQL 15 D2 for the accord a while back, and just got the box in today.

Picked up a 3d printer and scanner for some projects on the truck.

Spent a couple of hours printing and tweaking these wire clamps to replace the zip ties on the truck and car amp racks.

The pile of old ones that I didn’t like, and the last one with recessed mounting and screw less top should be pretty clean upgrade😎.

After doing a small update to my old pc with a 9070xt and new psu I started to like rgb, and kinda went nuts and built a whole new pc😂(used storage, ram, psu and gpu from old build.

Picked up a new gpu for my pc (9070 XT Sapphire Nitro+) from my old 8gb 4060 Ti Eagle. Also upgraded PSU from a non modular 700w Corsair to a full modular 850w be quiet

Pretty happy with the results from this beefy card, now I’m wanting to add more rgb stuff (wasn’t super interested in it before)

Just wanted to show my small audio setup i got in my silverado (still a work in progress).

Dropped the headliner and did a full roof treatment w resonix mega cld+ .5, and 1 in fibermat. Happy with the end results, a bit quieter in the cabin but now i need to redo the doors treatment.

Since im gonna redo the doors im gonna upgrade the drivers inside from 6.5 to 8s, currently got TM65. If yall have any solid 8in midbass i should look into drop them in comments.

Couple little things came in for the rack. New smoked acrylic back, distro screws(for cover), and got the last rca ends in so Coax connection made.

CLD + Fibermat coming in for roof treatment next week😬
