Fuggin stoked. Still looking for a ticket but I will be there for sure. Curious if any other anco fans here in the sub will be there, I am always curious to hear how much overlap there is. Gm
I am trying to wrap my head around the lfo depth. Say I have 15 samples in a bank, and I want the LFO to randomly select from those. If I put in a random LFO and set the depth to 15, a lot of the trigs don't make sound as if it is trying to pull from empty slots
What's the proper way to use depth for something like this?

I am expecting to get downvoted to oblivion. I am a huge fan of Abby's work, and have multiple clothing pieces / wall pieces from her. Recently I noticed she started really churning out intricate paper-cut pieces that are similar to what she makes but also not something I've seen her do before. Something about the art, especially the text on it, is giving me major AI vibes.
I don't want to post a picture because I don't want to call out non AI art if it isn't AI, but go look at her recent insta posts and see for yourself.
God damned proper sample editing?! That's the whole point of this box! Sampling! Yet I have to resample stuff constantly to be able to zoom in to the sample, plus deal with / work around annoying sample pops because of a lack of 0 crossing. Help me make sense of this.
Also, while Im at it, whats the use in being able to LFO tune if you can't actually lock it to the key you're working in. It's great for pers and whatnot, but having to resample all the notes in my scale, chop it, and then add an LFO for randomized chops just kills my workflow. These things should be brainers for this type of unit.
Rant over, love u elektron love u digitakt I will never leave u
The plan is to replace most of my Eurorack with the Digitakt II for live shows. As much as I love my modular, traveling with it isn't exactly practical and I'm starting to think I might be better off sampling it instead.
Curious to hear from anyone who's made a similar switch.
