AP Score Results Reality

Im not gonna lie i really dc what score I get. Not sure why everyone's stressing so much. Whatever score I get im happy with tbh and i honestly could care less. i studied a whole month for APUSH and bio and i know for comp sci its sort of impossible to get a 4 or above because of how impossibly easy that test was.

My point is, if you get a 5 you studied enough and you deserve it and if you get a 1 you didn't study at all and you deserve it. Your effort will be reflected in your scores so honestly you shouldn't be too worried. Whatever score you get, at the end of the day, it was the amount of effort that you put into that exam that got you that score. Whether it was 3 months of work or no work at all.

Evaluate the extent to which religious ideas of the Second Great Awakening shaped reform movements in the first half of the nineteenth century.

Prior to the Second Great Awakening, several movements had shaped the american identity. One of them prominent being the First Great Awakening, which focused on a better indiviualistic connection with god. The First Great Awakening was an extremely emotional movement with many town meetings and emotional preachers such as Jonathan Edwards. However, the Second Great Awkaening was more focused on improving the sins of society, allowing for the rise of several reform movements. To a large extent, the religous ideas greatly shaped newer reform movements like Temperance and abolotion while also increasing support for religon during the first half of the nineteenth century.

The second great awakening greatly increased participation in religon and allowing for bigger particpation for christianity. In document four, Charles Finney preaches about religon and the power of believing in this religous revival. The intended audience of Charles Finney included the average american where to which he could preach to and allow for them to have a greater relationship to god. This shows the reform in the increase in movements in religon, creating areas like the Burned-over district that were areas of huge religous fervor and areas where preachers preached extensively in. In addition, there were other religous movement reforms that resulted from the Second Great Awakening including an increase in other new religons such as the utopian community. In document five, George Ripley writes about his new plan of Brook farm, a utopian community that was more liberal and was different to the more normal and rigid values of america. This description showed the surge in newer reform movements that aimed to establish different ideas, allowing from more reform that had resulted from the Second Great Awakening. The point of view of George Ripley was to create a more liberal sense of community to which people can establish their lives in. In addition, another significant group that had arisen fromt the ideas of the second great awakening were the mormons that were led by Joseph Smith and had settled in Utah. Their beliefs were forstered from reform movements from the Second great awakening.

In addition to these new religous pursuits, there were many reform ideas that were seperate from religon such as abolition. In document 3, David Walker writes in his book about abolition and the need for african americans to have equal rights with white Americans. These ideas were part of a huge reform movement that had been derived from the second great awakening. David Walker's intended audience were african americans to which he called upon them to educate themselves and become more resist these movements from white americans that were against abolition. Other prominent African American abolition leaders included Fredrick Douglass who wrote the North Star and William Lloyd Garrison who wrote the Liberator. Both of them had supported abolition and created huge reforms and resistance that were also partially shaped from the Second Great Awkaneing. Additionally, other movements emerged such as the temperance movement, a movement enormously shaped the ideas of the Second Great Awkaneing. In Document 2, a picture of the Drunkards Progress is seen as a man advances through different stages of alcholoism and leads to his eventual demise. This picture is supported by several religous verses, showing the huge effects the Second Great Awakening had on these new movements, showing its influence on the minds of Americans. Barber's purpose in creating this illustration was to foster change in the consuming of alcohol and reduce its effects on Americans and their families. Finally, the second great awakening had shaped reform movements about the rights of women and their right to vote. In document 7, Elizabeth Cady Stanton writes the Declaration of Sentiments and Resolutions that declares that both men and women are equal and have the same rights. These ideas, a stark difference between the ideas of the century prior, showed the major movements that had stirred and been shaped by this awakening, creating new debates about the rights of women. Stanton's purpose of this declaration was to create a basis of which that women and men were equal in nature and requried equal rights with no distinction.

In conclusion, the Second Great Awakening largerly influenced and shaped movements of reform during the first half of the nineteenth century in terms of strengthing new and current religon movements and also shaping new reform movements such as abolition and temperance. After the Second Great Awakening had ended, it's effects continue to be seen through the start of the Civil War, a major fight about slavery, and the creation of the 18th ammendment that had prohibited the consumation of alchohol, both movements having been essential to the many reform movements shaped by the Second Great Awakening.

For the nucleotide question do you think I would get the point if this is what I put down " The nucleotide consists of a phosphate group, a sugar (5 carbon deoxyribose for DNA and ribose for RNA) and a nitrogenous base" I didn't put 5-carbon sugar but I put the part that i put in parenthsis in my frq. Will the paranthesis part count if i said that deoxyribose is 5 carbon but i didn't explicitly mention that ribose is a 5 carbon

For the graph, I didn't put units for my Y-axis because there were none. Was this right? Also, I labeled the AGO +/- and the other ones for my X axis but was I supposed to put like a final x-axis for it like the actual title?
