Found at thrift

So I got an aftermarket head unit installed in my Tacoma about a month ago and about two weeks and I hit a bump lost power to the head unit and it turned off and restarted brake malfunction engine light, and my traction turned off after that I went through the head unit and checked for any loose wires and I couldn’t find any so I reset it and it was good for about a week and then the same thing happened but the head unit just disconnected from my phone. It didn’t turn off. I took it to an audio shop and they scanned it with a code P2121 coming up and he says I will likely need to replace the throttle position sensor. I did some digging and saw other people having the same issue after installing aftermarket electrical stuff, but didn’t really see how they fixed it if anyone could help that would be great.
