Currently eyeing this andiamo messenger in suede but I’m a bit concerned about how the leather will wear. I believe they leave the edges of the woven leather unsealed, and with that being suede, would it be even more prone to fraying compared to regular full grain leather?

I can get a really good deal on a brand new one but I just want to get some opinion before pulling the trigger. I know this bag can be worn multiple ways but I think I’ll wear it crossbody only (like so in the picture). Would it be too insecure if I wear it this way? It doesn’t come with a zipper closure.
