So my son has been staying with me for the summer and he’s noticed that lately I’ve been getting into watches more and more which has naturally intrigued him. Well today is the day that I have to take him back home and this morning he asked for his very first watch to which obviously I replied absolutely 😂 we stopped by our local Swatch store and spent some time browsing while he picked his out. I wasn’t planning on buying anything for myself but I couldn’t stop staring at this 1965 Mission To The Moon and before I knew it I was walking out with it. All in all I’m absolutely in love with this thing, it’s so sleek, I love the subtle hints to the mission back then with the 19 and 65 in the dial. Definitely going to be grabbing a few extra straps to swap in and out, which reminds me this model has the quick release so strap swapping is made super easy. Definitely super happy with this purchase and bonding experience with my son

A couple weeks back I won a giveaway that someone I followed did and I won these 3 beauties! I’ve already got the A168 so now I have the other to 158 to match and I also have the all black “Royale” so now I have another version to throw in the mix. That G Shock 5600 will be my new work watch tho. Couldn’t be happier with these

I’ve only recently gotten into watches and I’ve quickly found myself in love with these older vintage Casios. These are the only two in my collection so far, bought within a week of each other which tells me this may get out of hand quick lol. Obviously I’d love to own higher end luxury pieces but again there’s just something so sleek to me about a vintage Casio, the F-91w is perfect for me to wear at work without fear of it getting messed up and if it does get dirty I can just rinse it off quick. All around perfect durable and reliable timepiece that can be worn in any situation imo. Then there’s the A168 which to me is just absolutely beautiful. I will say the only downside I believe is how light it feels, I think I’ll definitely be changing out the bracelet to something a little more sturdy but other than that it’s an absolute beauty and a must have. What should I go for next if you had to pick? Obviously Casio only please
