Where to find framed art that doesn't look like hotel lobby decor?

where is everyone finding framed art that wasnt selected by an algorithm lol, every online search returns vague watercolor blobs stock coastline photography and the same matisse cutouts

bedroom and hallway both need something, not spending hundreds per piece but it needs to be from a real artist with personality behind it

is a lawyer worth it for a totaled car with no injuries

came back out of a store to find someone had backed into my parked car 😭 its totaled. thankfully i wasn't even in it, so no injuries or anything, just dealing with the property damage now.

their insurance took fault right away and said they're gonna send over a valuation. my friend keeps telling me to get a lawyer but i dont really get what a lawyer would do in this situation lol. if its just about what the car is worth, cant i handle that myself? am i overlooking something?

I don't know how to teach my kid to read and it is starting to get to me

My son is six and he’s asking. Like, not vaguely either, he actually wants to read. He’ll bring me stuff and ask what it says, and gets frustrated when I just read it to him. I can follow his interest in pretty much everything else. When he was into insects, I could go find bugs with him, show him things, etc.

But reading?? I have no idea how to follow that because I honestly don’t even remember how I learned. It was so long ago that I have zero clue what I actually did. Everything I try somehow turns into me saying letter names at him while he gets bored lol.

He’s not the problem here, I am. Feels kinda weird admitting that in this sub when the usual answer is "it happens when it happens." But it IS happening. He’s asking, he wants to learn, and I feel like I’m the bottleneck here 😭

I'm trying to figure out at what point transactional email actually needs its own dedicated setup separate from everything else

Rn our transactional email rides on the same account as a marketing tool one of the other teams manages, and it worked fine until last week when a campaign send tanked our password reset emails for about four hrs. Trying to figure out if this is a should have separated these from day one situation or if there is a middle ground Im not seeing that does not involve standing up a whole separate provider relationship.

Financial advisor marketing stratergies for small RIA, which ones make sense?

We're a small RIA, about $120M, two advisors and one support person. Referrals and community involvement carried us for years but growth has gotten inconsistent, and I'm trying to figure out which financial advisor marketing strategies would give us something more reliable without doubling our workload.

I've been looking at three things.

Finny is an AI prospecting platform that positions itself as one of the more automated financial advisor marketing strategies available. It finds prospects through behavioral signals and handles outreach on your behalf. Its appealing because it covers the top of funnel, though I'm not sure yet how it performs for a firm our size versus a solo advisor.

AIdentified is a data platform that surfaces enriched prospect profiles. Could be a good fit if you already have a strong outreach process and just need sharper targeting, though I'm not sure how much value the data adds without the outreach piece built in.

FMG Suite is more content marketing and digital presence. Long term visibility play, not immediate lead flow.

We don't have bandwidth to run all three. It probably comes down to whether we need more people in the door now or a stronger foundation first. Anyone in a similar situation figure this out?
