We’re often nicer to strangers than to people we love
We say “thank you” to strangers.
Apologize when we bump into them.
Smile at people we’ll probably never see again.
But with the people closest to us, we sometimes give them the version of us that nobody else gets.
Maybe being comfortable with someone shouldn’t mean being careless with them.

Nobody warns you how weird adulthood gets
You can have a decent job, pay your bills, have people who love you…
…and still randomly sit at 2 AM wondering:
“Is this really what I’m doing with my life?”
Then you sleep, wake up, make coffee, and continue like nothing happened.
Maybe adulthood is just becoming really good at functioning while figuring things out.
