People often hear in the media and from the far right that Islam in Europe is a violent religion that imposes itself by force. But when you think about it, it's actually quite the opposite.

In contemporary Western Europe, Islam has mainly grown not through bloodshed, but through the most peaceful means possible: immigration. And it doesn't really impose itself in public spaces. You don't see people forcing you to convert on the street like some evangelical preachers do. Overall, the practice of Islam is rather discreet.

So, it can be said that, in contemporary Europe, Islam has spread mainly through peaceful migration rather than through violence.
