Green Line Suddenly Appeared, no fall, no water damage. Last Updated to June Security Patch on 26-June.

The horizontal liine is slighty above the crease, screen protector around the crease is completely fine, the screen protector has lifted off exactly parallel to the horizontal line. This gets me into thinking is the screen protector stress caused the damage?

Green line appeared today on 1st July.

Update on 2-July: Went to the authorised samsung service center, they diagnosed and said it was caused due to the screen protector lift off.

It will be repaired free of cost they will replace everything except cover screen and motherboard.

Basically entirely a new frame with main display, new hinge, new batteries.

AM I IN TROUBLE??

I didn't expect that they would report it. I mostly did it for cash rolling, but stopped doing it from April 2026.

The reason is that a friend of mine needed short-term funds throughout the year. He is a business owner with a turnover of over 50CR. I would make payments using my RuPay credit card to a merchant QR, and then my friend would repay the credit card bill directly from his bank account before the due date. The same amount would often get reused multiple times during the year, so the turnover became very high even though I wasn't actually spending ₹57.9 lakh on myself. I never received the money in my bank account, and I didn't earn any commission, interest, or profit from this arrangement. The repayments were made directly from my friend's bank account to my credit card account.
