Why does this happen?

Scalpers?

I noticed that I have become increasingly scared of being racist or ableist. My brain will say a slurr, or call someone a slurr and it agonises me to talk to an ethnic minority or person from a different cultural background because of it. I'm not racist but I don't want communicate with these people out of fear of harming them.

I notice my breath quickening whenever they approach as I worry I'll scream a slurr. I'll even hold my mouth with my hand.

Anyone had similar experiences?
