Large appliance delivery and installation from Costco

We are looking to buy a new dryer from Costco. Has anyone dealt with delivery and installation locally? It seems like most of the bad reviews are about the delivery and install and of course that’s going to depend on the third party company they contract locally.

Help me decide, repair or buy a new dryer?

I am debating what I want to do about our dryer. We have an older, no frills GE dryer. It came with the house and has worked fine until about 6 months ago. The heating coils needed replaced and it worked great after that until the heat went out again this week. I hate that I have to take the drum out to see anything in the back to see if it’s something simple like the purple wire and to go through our warranty company again it would be $125 again. Plus they can’t come out until July 10th and then another week if they have to order parts.

The other option is to get a new whirlpool, no frills simple model from Costco for $560 delivered and installed with a 2 year warranty. It won’t be delivered until the 10th either but at least I would be able to dry laundry that day.

What would you do? Cheaper to repair but if I have to keep repairing I’m going to soon end up spending more than I would have to just get a new one.
