hello! i’m looking for a group tour or an affordable private snorkeling tour from koh yao yai. i did find one that tours james bond island and phang nga bay for around $136 a person but im not sure what islands are best to tour and have the best snorkeling spots. would love any advice or suggestions!!
i got these translating headphones for my trip to thailand and they work pretty great when i tested them on thai conversation videos but ive been practicing some phrases to see if my thai pronunciation is decent enough for someone to understand. i’ll repeat simple phrases, like ordering iced tea or asking the price of something and no matter how many times i try to get it just right the app just does not translate (thai to english) anything close to what im trying to say. sometimes the phrases it thinks im saying are even offensive! is there any hope that native speakers can understand through my terrible accent or am i risking complete embarrassment
this could be a long shot but i’m traveling to thailand for 2 weeks next month and as an avid shopper i made the mistake of making bangkok the first stop. i would like to travel light with just my 80L backpack but i know i going to want to buy a lot. we head to chiang mai after bangkok and then finish off in phuket where we will fly back home from the phuket airport.
with all that being said. is there any way to potentially ship our belongings from bangkok to phuket and have it held somewhere for us to pick up after a week or so? i know we can have our luggage shipped from place to place but i would like, if possible, for it to be safe but also out of sight and out of mind for the remainder of our trip.
would love any suggestions to make this a fun and stress free trip!
if i am ordering, is “gin arai gor dai” an okay way of saying you will eat anything? or what is an acceptable way of saying i’ll eat whatever is recommended. or is it considered rude to not know what to order?
i am learning thai on the mondly app and ive noticed a few things along the way that dont seem quite right but after some googling i can make some sense of it. but i cannot figure out or comprehend how the app came up with this one or if theres something im missing that google cannot answer for me.
the translation is
