Help me enjoying the combat system as much as possible

Hi everyone, first experience with Oblivion, about 20h. I absolutely loved Skyrim, even if the combat system was never good either, but here in Oblivion is absolutely flat, I can’t find any deepness other than BONK creature on their heads, kinda regret spending 90$ on the game. The basic dungeons are pretty bad too, copy paste and go on. If my surface was decent I would’ve just played modded Morrowind (gameplay and dungeons are way better imho)

Ps. Forgot to specify that I play on Xbox, so mods are not available for what I know

Finally, the time is ripe, I can come back to this brutal gem (that looks even better with component), one of my favorite games ever. Yes it’s tough, yes it took me years to finish it when I was a teen, but this game is so grim and fascinating: the graphic, the level design, the story and the puzzles. in my opinion everything is great, a fantastic and punishing adventure. If you never played it I suggest you to give it a shot, but be mindful, it’s definitely on the harder end of the spectrum, lots cannot really get through the full game. Anyway, enjoy life everyone 🫶🏻
