6 years of riding stock MT10 finally decided to install straight pipe with stock muffler for now. Idle sound makes people smile like idiots, simply put wow, riding it between 4krpm and 6krpm, steady at about 65mph is miserable, too loud and this particular setup doesnt make a great sound in mid range, i personally didnt like it. To rip it, wow again, but that steady mid range rpm cant stand it. I mostly commute with it, listen to music while riding, my goal was to make it louder for people to hear me but this is too loud.

Makes me wonder, which "Slip on" is the most quite? Will Db killer make a difference?

I hate the cat can look on the bike so ideally i wouldnt want to go back to it. Any recommendations on how to make it a bit quiter?

Im looking for advice of what kind of leaf springs i should get for my Taco. I read so many threads and comments and couldnt find a clear answer to my questions.

Current oem leaf springs are shot, i have new Bilstein 5100s installed in the back, front is stock, not looking to lift, not looking to increase payload, not towing, hauling occasionally for camping and house repair/renovation purposes nothing serious.

Options i discovered in other threads:

Deaver J66 - improves ride quality, reduces payload, bottoms easy under light payload( thats a quote )

General Springs Hd - Seems to be a cheap alternative and a very generic product that comes the same factory as other similar brands.

So my question is what leaf spring will work better with Bilstein 5100? Not only from the ones i mentioned above.

Whar are your thoughts about the above said leafsprings ?
