Silksong Roguelike?

What if instead of the normal pantheons for the final DLC, we get a roguelike where you unlock your tools, silk skills, silk spools, and possibly health after defeating bosses or waves of enemies (in themed arenas).

The Dream No More ending can be a canon ending to Hollow Knight

Most sources say that the Embrace the Void ending is the only canon ending in Hollow Knight due to the release of Silksong, with Hornet being in the game and not locked in the Temple of the Black Egg, and the Knight showing up in the end of the true ending of Silksong. But the Dream no more ending can be a canon ending, even though the Knight's shell is broken.

In the end of Silksong, the Knight appears as the the Void Given Focus seen in the Embrace the Void ending, and lifts Hornet and Lace back to the Deep Docks. Meaning Embrace the Void is the only canon ending, right?

This may not be correct because this is just a theory, but when you complete the Dream No More ending, there is no shade left behind, meaning that it was either destroyed, or taken with the Void that was seeping into the ground. If we say that it was taken (probably back to the Abyss), the Knight shade could've somehow embraced the Void and became the Void Given Focus, and have the ability to appear in Silksong and save Hornet and Lace from the Void.

This is just a theory so many aspects of this post may not be correct.

Cool DLC idea for Dredge: The Creaking Glade

Third Stage- Extreme amounts of coughing, rashes, mild aggression, and hallucinations

Fourth Stage- All previous symptoms with extreme violence

Fifth Stage- Unknown due to mysterious disappearance of patients

Hazards:

•Living roots that quickly rise out of the murky water to damage the player

•Trees that shoot harpoons made of its own tree bark towards the player if seen by the eye on it.

•A beast known as the Decaying One (an alligator made of decaying plants) randomly appearing out of the ground that hunts you (and will return to ground after some time to regenerate dead plant matter).

Environment: The Creaking Glade has short mangrove trees with roots hidden under the murky water where you can see the faint outline of what seems to be blinking eyes all over the ground and trees of the glade. In the center of it all is the Ruined Shack, where the scientists in 1873 set up camp, and where you can find the Doctor in the present.

Background: In 1873, scientists traveled to the Creaking Glade to find the cure to the Shadow Virus, but something was waiting for them. They built a shelter and started testing. Equipment disappeared, lights went off, mysterious shapes in the water appeared, and then people started getting sick. The infected got violent, they destroyed resources, and attacked their crew. The scientists quarantined them and quickened their research for the cure, but it was too late. After a week of people getting infected, everyone disappeared into the swamp without a trace. The only thing left in the swamp were the journals that contained the research for the cure, lost in the glade forever.

Story: Now there is only a ruined shack with the Doctor and their research in it. Once you agree to help this strange doctor, you are told to find the journals that contain the research for the cure, and the resources needed to make it. Every time you advance in the creation of the cure, the Doctor looks worse and worse like they're infected with the Shadow Virus. After the last stage is complete, the Doctor asks you to leave for a few days so they can finish the process of making the cure. When you return, the shack's equipment is destroyed and the Doctor is gone. The only thing intact is a small vial containing the cure.

Aftermath: The journals have disappeared, and the ruined shack is even more of a mess than it already was. There are mysterious footprints leading deeper into the swamp that weren't there before the Doctor disappeared. When exploring the swamp you can see the faint shape of a bipedal creature moving through the trees. You can now use the Vial of the Cure infinitely at any time to calm yourself down completly when panicked.

The Wisp Thicket is the most unsettling place in Silksong

I know people may argue that Whiteward is the most unsettling place with all it's expirements, but that is what you would expect to be in the basement of a corrupt society.

While in the Wisp Thicket, there is a cult (the Burning Bugs) that have the strange ability to control or at least summon the Wisps that share their home with no explanation.

They also worship a strange fire related god, and self immolate themselves once their representation of this god is destoryed (also with no explanation).

It also has a weird ambience with the bamboo-like plants and (probably) embers floating through the air.

The Burning Bugs also capture pilgrims and hang them in bags throughout the thicket.

They also are able to resist the Haunting by burning the silk around them (explained with the Wispfire Lantern), and the Void also avoids this place due to the burning of silk (mentioned before) that it is drawn to.

As you can probably tell, this is the Knight fighting the Hollow Knight in the Black Egg Temple. I hope you enjoy this piece of art I made.
