Are People Reducing Contributions Right Now?

Are people reducing their contributions right now due to the inflation of the market? I’m trying to decide if I should focus on HYSA cash (and just get my 401k match) until the presidency is over (this statement has nothing to do with personal opinions over the president, but I feel like once it changes we will see some downturn impacts for sure)

Investment / HYSA Ratio

I’m a 28 YO M. On 1 income, saving for wedding in ~2 years and house in ~3-4 years. North NJ area is the goal (if you know, then you know how expensive it is). Currently have 37k in taxable brokerage (mainly VOO). 85k in 401k. 39k in HYSA. Given these goals over the next few years, is it smart to invest all extra cash I have into HYSA? I contribute 10% of my paycheck to my 401k biweekly and invest 200/month in VOO. I save 1000 in cash a month. Am I dumb for not saving more in my investments / 401k? Does anyone have experience in using invested money to fund these things? Am I leaving money “on the table” in the sense that it’s going to HYSA which is a fine interest rate but not that amazing? My monthly expenses are pretty low and I have well over 6 months of living saved for emergency fund in HYSA). Looking for tips, strategies and opinions. Thanks

Hydroconquest 39mm

I just purchased the new Hydroconquest 39 mm, and I’m noticing that the watch stops moving after being placed in the box. Is this normal? How do I get it to continue spinning? Is it not automatic?
