Blake Lively is all class as she skips the controversial wedding

Blake hasn't been seen in photographs at this wedding. People are turning this into a story about how Blake has done wrong. Can we talk about a friend who dropped their best friend when they needed them most?

You know who was invited?

  1. Brad Pitt- A known child abuser who used Melissa Nathan for PR

  2. Jason Sudeikis- another Melissa Nathan client who humiliated his ex-wife

  3. Karlie Kloss and her husband Joshua Kushner- who is the brother of Trump's son-in-law

  4. Machine Gun Kelly- who has made overtly sexual comments about underage girls

  5. Jimmy Fallon- who just had Connor McGregor (a known abuser) on his show

  6. Sasha Baron Cohen- who has been accused of sexual harassment

  7. Lena Dunham- who said she sexually assaulted her younger sister as a child

  8. Tom Cruise- was allegedly in attendance- he shamed Brooke Shields for using antidepressants when she developed postpartum depression

I wouldn't want Blake or Ryan in that company.

Update from Blake Lively's legal team...

In response to Bryan Freedman claiming a win, Blake Lively's lawyers responded with...

"Bryan Freedman and his clients resorted to a DARVO statement that is a pack of lies. Just a few weeks ago, they said Blake Lively’s claims 'deserved to be heard.' Now it seems Justin Baldoni thinks women who bring claims of sexual harassment and retaliation in good faith, without malice, should be sued into oblivion. Thankfully, there’s a law against that, and the Court applied it today. People who do nothing wrong don’t have to pay millions of dollars, which is where this is headed now."

Recognize & Resist. An anti-smear campaign series, Ep 4. James Safechuck & Wade Robson. See a smear campaign, call it out. *Trigger Warning at top - Please read*

(Trigger Warning: The following post contains discusssion of sexual and psychological abuse, as well as sui cide. Please, only read if you’re able to handle this content.)

James Safechuck and Wade Robson

Wade Robson:

At just five years old, Wade Robson won a talent contest that earned him a meeting with Michael Jackson. Although he was technically below the age limit to compete, organizers made an exception due to his exceptional dancing ability. During their meeting, the young dancer and his family were invited to view a new music video alongside the global superstar in his hotel bed. Wade’s mom was shocked that they were lying in bed with Michael Jackson, very casually. This encounter led to significant media attention for Wade across Australia. Before the trip concluded, Michael informed the family that they should reach out for a visit if they were ever in California.

Two years later, during a family trip to California, Wade's mother successfully contacted Michael Jackson. The pop star responded by inviting Wade, his parents, siblings, and grandparents to the Record One studio to observe a recording session. Following the studio visit, the family was invited to Neverland Ranch. For the journey to the property, Jackson requested that Wade and his sister ride in his personal vehicle, where they listened to unreleased tracks. Upon arriving at the estate, Wade described the experience as feeling "like traveling to another planet." The massive property served as a child's paradise, equipped with endless candy, arcade games, race cars, a playground, exotic animals, and exclusive previews of unreleased entertainment. As the visit concluded, Jackson extended an invitation for the entire family to stay overnight.

During that stay, seven-year-old Wade and his ten-year-old sister slept in Michael Jackson's main residence, while their parents and grandparents were accommodated in a separate guest house. Although the adults had access to the main house during the day, they retired to the guest quarters each evening. The children slept alongside Jackson in a bed located within a two-story loft inside his bedroom, positioned furthest from the door. Reflecting on the dynamic, Wade's family placed immense trust in the singer, with his grandmother later remarking that Jackson "was just like a child." Each night of the visit, Jackson and the two siblings fell asleep together in the loft bed while watching movies.

Michael bonded rapidly with Wade, who not only mirrored his dance style but was also styled by his mother with a permed haircut and miniature replicas of Jackson's stage outfits for dance performances. Observing the resemblance, Jackson remarked, "It's like looking at myself in a mirror." On their second night at the ranch, Wade woke up to find Jackson crying, distraught over their upcoming departure and expressing an intense fear of being left alone. “I’m just so sad you guys are going to leave me. I don’t want to be alone. I don’t want you to leave me,” Jackson told Wade. The following day, when the rest of the family prepared to leave for a five-day trip to the Grand Canyon, Wade requested to stay behind at Neverland alone with Jackson. Despite initial hesitation, his parents ultimately consented. Reflecting on the decision, Wade's grandmother later noted, "We thought he was teaching him all of these dances."

Sexual Abuse of Wade Robson:

Michael began sexually abusing Wade the moment they were left alone, when Wade was only seven years old. The abuse was constant, as Wade described that any night they spent together involved sexual abuse. The abuse escalated and would make Wade uncomfortable at times but Michael justified the experience as the way they show one another love. Wade described the most uncomfortable part of the abuse was the adult pornography Michael made him watch.

Psychological Abuse of Wade Robson:

The psychological manipulation and isolation began early in the relationship. Jackson frequently advised Wade not to trust others, particularly women, and began calling Wade his "son" in an attempt to distance him from his own father. To build compliance, Jackson showered him with lavish gifts, telling him during shopping trips to fill carts with whatever he wanted. Wade later stated that abuse occurred every night they were together, accompanied by strict warnings that they would both be jailed and separated if anyone ever found out. The two maintained constant communication, spending hours on the phone. Jackson also provided Wade with a fax machine to exchange drawings and handwritten notes; Wade's mother recalled returning home daily to find their living room floor entirely covered by the sheer volume of incoming faxes.

To reinforce Wade's sense of exclusivity and the unique nature of their bond, Jackson presented him with highly specific gifts, such as the actual fedora worn in the "Smooth Criminal" music video. Jackson eventually approached Wade’s parents with a request for Wade to live with him for a year. When Wade's mother refused, Jackson responded by stating, "I always get what I want."

The manipulation also involved strategic alienation, as Jackson frequently invited Wade's mother, brother, and sister to events while explicitly excluding his father. Over time, the strain contributed to the parents' divorce, after which Wade, his mother, and his sister relocated to Los Angeles to be closer to Jackson. Distanced from his family and reeling from the divorce, Wade's father ultimately died by suicide.

As Wade grew older, Jackson's intense interest and frequent contact began to fade, resulting in rare phone calls and minimal interaction with the family. Determined to regain Jackson's attention and approval, Wade focused heavily on his dancing career, seeking television opportunities to impress him. Wade spent years building a successful entertainment career designed to keep his path crossing with Michael Jackson's as frequently as possible. He established himself as a highly sought-after choreographer, working with elite pop acts like NSYNC and Britney Spears. Jackson took a particular interest in Spears and actively encouraged Robson to pursue a sexual relationship with her.

When the first public allegations against Jackson emerged, law enforcement officers interviewed Wade at his home. Having been conditioned by Jackson to believe that revealing the truth would destroy everyone around him, Wade maintained his silence. Amid the ongoing legal crisis, Jackson abruptly resumed daily communication, nurturing the relationship once again and reinforcing the warning that widespread ruin would follow if Wade spoke out. Although years had passed since they shared a close bond, Jackson leveraged this sudden attention to maintain control and ensure Wade's compliance during the investigation.

During this period, Jackson resumed visiting the family's home in addition to his frequent phone calls. By this time, Wade was 14 years old and had grown significantly, standing 5 feet 11 inches tall. Because Michael was visiting more, the sexual abuse continued. This time with a more adult version of Wade.

The day after a particularly graphic sexual assault, Wade received an urgent phone call from Jackson inquiring about the clothing he had worn the previous evening and instructing him to locate and dispose of it immediately to eliminate potential evidence of abuse. Following these instructions, Wade located the garments and threw them into a downstairs dumpster. According to Wade's later accounts, this period marked the final physical encounter he recalled with Jackson.

When the subsequent legal proceedings against Jackson arose, Wade was an adult and married. Hoping to keep his family out of the matter, he requested that his mother refrain from participating. Wade initially informed Jackson that he did not wish to testify; however, he was compelled to do so after receiving a formal subpoena in the mail. During his appearance, Wade followed his years of conditioning by denying the allegations before the court. At that stage, he still maintained deep affection for Jackson and viewed their past connection as a meaningful relationship.

Following Michael Jackson's death, Wade attended the funeral, grieving the loss of an individual he had viewed as a close mentor and a source of romantic affection. Shortly after the passing, Wade's wife gave birth to their first child, a son. While the arrival of his child brought joy, Wade's emotional well-being began to severely deteriorate. Struggling to process his grief, he experienced intense feelings of rage and disgust when considering the reality of what Jackson had done to him, particularly when viewing it through the lens of protecting his own infant son. Wade later questioned how his moral clarity regarding his son's safety could coexist with his complex feelings about his own past experience. “How can I have such clear feelings about Michael doing that to my son but between Michael and I, I don’t,” Wade said. Amid this emotional crisis, Wade walked away from his highly successful career as a choreographer and stepped out of the public eye.

Wade eventually began working with a therapist, revealing the reality of his relationship with Jackson for the first time. Uncovering these suppressed experiences initiated a profound personal and familial crisis. When he shared the truth with his wife and relatives, the family dynamic fractured deeply, with much of the blame directed toward his mother. His wife initially experienced intense anxiety regarding the safety of their son due to a lack of understanding about the psychological dynamics of childhood trauma and abuse cycles. Driven by a desire to process his experiences and address the profound guilt he felt for his past silence—particularly regarding his failure to support other victims during earlier legal proceedings—Wade ultimately decided to share his testimony publicly.

James Safechuck:

James Safechuck first met Michael Jackson at age seven after being cast in a Pepsi commercial alongside the pop star. Following the shoot, Jackson invited Safechuck and his family to his estate, where he treated them to a private screening of the unreleased film Batteries Not Included. During this visit, Jackson gifted the young boy an envelope filled with cash alongside his iconic Thriller jacket.

Over time, Jackson cultivated a close relationship with both Safechuck and his parents by portraying himself as a deeply lonely, childlike figure. Moved by their deep sympathy for Michael, the parents frequently picked Jackson up to stay at their home. Because this connection began before the construction of Neverland Valley Ranch, their early interactions took place at the Jackson family's Encino estate, Hayvenhurst.

Jackson quickly became like a son to the family, staying overnight at their home regularly while Safechuck’s mother took care of his laundry. During a trip to Hawaii for a Pepsi convention, Jackson rented out an entire theme park for them and arranged a private helicopter tour. However, when Jackson asked to sleep in the same room as Safechuck, his mother refused.

After they returned home, Jackson began calling Safechuck directly, talking to him on the phone for hours. He then invited Safechuck to join him on tour. This time, Safechuck's mother agreed. While on tour, Safechuck met numerous celebrities and visited the film set of Indiana Jones. Initially, Jackson would only remain in the bed until Safechuck fell asleep, but eventually, Safechuck began asking him to stay through the night.

Sexual Abuse of James:

James described a very romantic relationship with Michael where sexual abuse was a part of the relationship. It was how they showed love to one another. Michael also ran drills with James to break apart and get dressed quickly, in case they were ever caught. Michael told James that he was his first; first kiss and first sexual experiences. James also stated that the abuse was every day and Michael would pay him for complying by offering jewelry.

Psychological Abuse of James:

Jackson eventually told Safechuck that he had purchased the Neverland Valley Ranch specifically for him. At the same time, Jackson began driving a wedge between Safechuck and his parents, attempting to convince the boy that his family was evil and framing the outside world as hostile while positioning himself as the only source of good.

To solidify this bond, Jackson staged a mock wedding ceremony with Safechuck, complete with vows and an exchange of rings, telling the boy it signified that they would be together forever. During this period, Jackson also introduced Safechuck to alcohol.

As time passed, new boys arrived, and Safechuck was relegated to a downstairs couch while the others slept in Jackson's bed. When the 1993 sexual abuse allegations involving Jordan Chandler surfaced, Jackson offered Safechuck's parents money for a down payment on a new home, conditioned on Safechuck testifying in his defense. Although he was uncomfortable with lying, Safechuck nevertheless complied.

When a new round of abuse allegations emerged in 2003, Safechuck told his mother that Jackson was an evil man and that they would not be testifying for him this time. Recognizing this as an admission that the allegations were true, his mother promised to keep the secret. Jackson called, begging for help and offering to launch Safechuck's career as a Hollywood director if he testified. When Safechuck refused, Jackson grew angry, threatening that Safechuck had perjured himself in 1993 and warning that his powerful legal team would sue him. Safechuck told Jackson never to call him again.

Following Jackson's death, Safechuck spiraled into a deep depression, which only intensified after the birth of his own children. His mental health reached its lowest point when his father fell seriously ill, a crisis that deeply alarmed his wife. The turning point came when Safechuck saw Wade Robson on television confessing to his own past perjury and sharing an abuse narrative that mirrored Safechuck’s own experiences. Finding the courage to finally reveal the truth, Safechuck confided in his wife, reached out to Robson, and began publicly speaking out.

Following the release of the documentary Leaving Neverland, the Michael Jackson Estate initiated a massive smear campaign against Wade Robson and James Safechuck, while obsessive fans who maintain Jackson's innocence targeted them with death threats. Driven by shame and guilt over their inability to speak out sooner, the two men filed a lawsuit against Jackson's corporate entities to seek justice for all of Jackson's victims. Their lawsuit alleges that Neverland Ranch staff and employed adults witnessed Jackson's heinous sexual acts but stood by and remained silent instead of intervening to protect the children.

The case was repeatedly thrown out due to the statute of limitations. However, following the #MeToo movement, California altered its laws, granting the men the right to appeal. An appellate court subsequently ruled that corporations can be held liable for protecting victims, even if the alleged perpetrator is the sole owner of that company. Robson and Safechuck believe the Jackson Estate has intentionally delayed the legal process to capitalize on ongoing profits from Jackson-related movies, music, and musical sales. A tentative trial date has been set for November 2026.

Smear Campaign:

Attorneys for the Michael Jackson Estate have consistently categorized Jackson's accusers as financially motivated opportunists who only came forward in pursuit of monetary compensation. Online, defensive fans mobilized across social media using hashtags like #MJInnocent and #MJFam to sway public opinion and brand Wade Robson and James Safechuck as liars. The prevailing online narrative argued that the men waited until after Jackson's death to speak out solely to secure money and fame. To support these claims, defenders point out that Robson's allegations only emerged after he was denied a prominent role in a Jackson-themed Cirque du Soleil production, and note that he had attempted to shop a book detailing the abuse a year before taking his case to court.

Prior to the premiere of Leaving Neverland, the Michael Jackson Estate launched an aggressive media campaign to discredit the documentary and discourage viewership. The estate strategically leaked stories designed to cast Wade Robson and James Safechuck in a negative light, highlighting their past court testimonies given in defense of Jackson. Additionally, they flooded social media and mainstream media outlets with pro-Jackson content to reinforce his innocent, philanthropic persona before, during, and after the film's release. Consequently, the already quiet personal lives of Robson and Safechuck became even more isolated once the documentary aired.

The Michael Jackson Estate fiercely condemned Leaving Neverland following its January premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, labeling it a "tabloid character assassination" and accusing the filmmakers of treating uncorroborated, 20-year-old allegations as objective fact. Commentators noted that this response signaled a new era of artist estate management centered heavily on damage containment and narrative control over a deceased artist's legacy.

As Leaving Neverland aired on television in the United States, the estate countered by releasing full concert films—Live in Bucharest: The Dangerous Tour and Live at Wembley July 16, 1988—for free on YouTube. This narrative containment strategy extended into major commercial ventures, including the West End debut of the Jackson-themed musical MJ (initially titled Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough) and the global theatrical release of the biographical film Michael, both of which intentionally bypassed Jackson’s highly controversial history with young children.

Evidence Against Michael Jackson:

-        All of the victims have similar stories of grooming, both the children and their families. Buying expensive items or offering up collector’s items and exclusive events to entice the children and their parents. Additionally, the grooming involved evenings alone in Jackson’s bed, watching or looking at pornography, confessing their romantic love for one another, and Michael training them to deny anything if they were ever caught.

-        Michael’s attention and affection were the way Michael controlled these children and their families. When he needed them to testify, he showered them with all of those things again, to continue his control.

-        Jason Francia’s mother, Blanca Francia, was Michael Jackson’s housekeeper. She testified that her son was slipped cash in his pockets following sex acts and told not to tell him mom. She said that she found her son in the shower with Michael and in a single sleeping bag with him. She also testified that she saw Michael in bed with MacCauley Culkin and Michael had his hands down Macauley’s pants while he slept.

-        The most damning piece of evidence against Michael Jackson came during the 1993 trial with Jordy Chandler. Jordy drew a depiction of Michael Jackson’s phallus, where he accurately located and drew markings around Michael’s phallus. Part of the 1993 investigation included taking pictures of Michaels’ phallus area that confirmed Jordy’s representation. (*Note phallus has been used instead of terms for private parts for reddit's filter)

-        During Michael Jackson’s 2005 trial, former Neverland Ranch employees Phillip LeMarque (a chef) and Adrian McManus (a maid) testified that they saw Jackson inappropriately touching Macaulay Culkin, including incidents of putting his hand inside Culkin's pants and touching his rear. Culkin, however, testified under oath that the allegations were false and never happened.

-        Adrian McManus, Michael Jackson’s maid, also testified to seeing kids’ underwear on the ground in the bathroom, in the jacuzzi, and in Michael’s closet. She often saw children sitting on Michael’s lap, giving him kisses on the cheek. She also shared that there were lots of bottles of Vaseline around Neverland, all around Michael’s bedroom.

-        Michael’s own sister, Latoya Jackson went on multiple interviews over the years to share her belief that Michael is guilty, based on what she saw when in his company.
