Good destination for single mom and kids?

Based on my limited knowledge of St Maarten it seems like a safe and friendly island, but I'd like the opinion of those more familiar. Is St Maarten a safe destination for a single mom and 2 young children age 6 and 3? My children go to bed relatively early so we wouldn't be out late by any means. As far as plans I was thinking Maho beach, Loterie Farm, possibly the Rainforest adventure chairlift. For accommodations I had my eye on a small bungalow/hotel near Oyster Pond ferry terminal.

Either I got the deal of a lifetime or it’s fake

Text on the shirt says MiuMiu but it’s listed as assorted brands 😅

Swimsuits

I'm looking for a bikini with decent butt coverage that I can wear around family but still be cute. I've tried Summersalt and it was meh considering a bikini is like $120 and currently they don't have any patterns just solid colors. Not much availability for a size small from Athleta. Last summer I got 2 bikinis from CRZ yoga on Amazon and I like them, but I do think the color faded fast. I'm 30 now but still have a few bikinis from O'Neill from my early 20s that seem really good quality just a little skimpy to wear at a family friendly pool with my kids. Are swimsuits this hard to find or it is just me lol. I don't mind spending around $80 for a bikini but anything over $100 seems too steep

Pa's Songs

I've been reading the Little House Books to my daughters age 6 and 3. Recently on a road trip we listened to one of the audiobooks on Spotify and the narrator sings Pa's songs. When I read aloud I try to sing them but I am not remotely familiar with how they may actually sound and just kind of make it up. Monday I was listening to Tambourine Man by Bob Dylan and my 6 year old ask "Is this one of pa's songs?" she gave me a good laugh
