Wisp-delay your period?

Wisp-delay your period?

Has anyone tried this? I have a vacation coming up and I wasn’t supposed to get my period but I got it early this month so now I’ll have it on vacation 😫. I saw Wisp has these. Curious if they work?

Those who own Lilysilk - how are they holding up over the years?

Got my partner a set and am wondering how the quality is like over the years. Any mentions of how you have been washing / caring for the fabric will be well-appreciated too!

Vessi Shoe review

LF honest reviews of the waterproof "glide over cobblestone" Vessie white Weekend Classic sneakers.

I see these ads everywhere now and I'm tempted to buy some but I've been duped before. Anyone have these shoes? Are they hot, are they comfortable for walking in for long days, are the actually waterproof? Any other feedback welcome.

Is the Lululemon New Parent Backpack actually worth $200+?

Is the Lululemon New Parent Backpack actually worth $200+?

Genuinely split, and it tends to come down to whether you compared it to alternatives first or bought it on aesthetic alone.

People who did their research first:

  • "I ordered and returned a bunch of diaper bags before convincing myself to spend on the Lululemon New Parent Backpack. No regrets — it's roomy but not bulky, super lightweight, high quality and easy to clean." (9 upvotes)

People who feel burned:

  • "Unpopular opinion. This bag was poor quality for the price and was returned." (49 upvotes)
  • "This is an unpopular opinion, but I got it for my second and am disappointed. My $35 one from Amazon with my first seemed better." (27 upvotes)

Does the exterior hold up?

This is the part nobody disputes — the material gets consistently praised even by people who returned the bag for other reasons:

  • "The rain rolls off of it and I've been unintentionally a little rough with it a few times and no scuffs. Any dried up spilled milk droplets just wipe right off." (3 upvotes)
  • "I love mine and still use it with my 3 and 7 year old. I've had it since it first came out probably 5 years ago. It's still in perfect condition and wipes clean." (2 upvotes)

What's actually missing for a diaper bag at this price?

The insulated bottle pocket is the complaint that comes up over and over — surprising for a bag marketed specifically to new parents:

  • "I swore I'd buy one. I heard it doesn't have an insulated pouch either." (25 upvotes)

Other functional gaps:

  • "The bag is so deep it's impossible to find or take out things at the bottom without removing everything." (4 upvotes)
  • "The only thing I don't like is that it slides off my shoulder REALLY easily if I'm one-strapping it." (2 upvotes)

Is it worth it if I don't have a baby?

Actually one of the strongest use cases according to people who've used it that way:

  • "I use mine for everything — travel and work — and love it." (2 upvotes)
  • "I use it as my daily bag and I don't have a baby. Fits all my work needs." (2 upvotes)

The padded laptop sleeve fits 13–14" laptops, which matters if you're considering this as a work bag rather than (or in addition to) a diaper bag.

What's the best alternative?

Skip Hop Forma/Mainframe is the one that comes up most — similar size and aesthetic, has the insulated pocket Lululemon is missing, and runs about $77 on sale. Repeatedly described as nearly identical in function for a fraction of the price.

Other options people land on:

  • Beis Ultimate Diaper Bag : larger, insulated, comparable style; found at TJ Maxx and Winners for around $150
  • Fjällräven backpack + packing cubes — recommended by a mom of twins for capacity and long-term versatility (25 upvotes)
  • Regular backpack + $7 waterproof change pad — "Diaper bags are a scam. I just used a regular backpack packed with baby supplies. I bought a $7 waterproof change pad off Amazon to toss in it and it worked perfect." (43 upvotes)

Sunday brand is a terrible brand lying about their product

Ergh so I bought a jumper and it took over 3 and a half weeks to come. Checked my tracking to realise it come straight from china. 🙄Jumped on there website and checked there reviews to see that there pretty much all fake. As they have over 1000 bullshit reviews for pretty much a brand new business. There quality don't at all meet what they are trying to advertise online and the material they doesn't match what the tag says to what they advertise . And customer service don't get back to you. I think as you pay a lot of money people should know that they are not a genuine and authentic company like they are trying to portray themselves as 🫠 they aren't looking after their customers. They're lying and their quality is shit. So please please don't get caught up wasting your money buying their product! They have a little segment in vogue talking about building built on integrity 🙄

Little Spoon Organics reddit community reviews

We went through the Reddit discussions on Little Spoon to find out who it's actually working for and what to know before you subscribe.

Is it actually worth the price?

Most parents land on "useful but overpriced as a regular thing" — the value case gets much stronger when you use it as a backup rather than a primary meal source.

Parents who find it worth it:

  • "You can't beat the convenience. We now use them as an 'oh shit what am I making' meal and supplement it with extras, or if we're on the go." (5 upvotes)
  • "I sign up occasionally to stock up on a set of meals, store them in the freezer, and pull them out when I need something easy at the last minute." (2 upvotes)

Parents who don't:

  • "Once my son got a little pickier it wasn't worth it at all because he'd eat a few bites and it was $8 a meal." (6 upvotes)
  • "No that seems wildly expensive for how little an 8 month old will actually eat." (3 upvotes)

What's actually good?

The purees are the standout — consistently praised for taste, variety, and being genuinely useful for allergy-sensitive babies:

  • "I did the purées and they were delicious, my husband and I had to stop ourselves from eating the mango. My son had a lot of allergies so this was easy and convenient." (10 upvotes)
  • "We LOVE little spoon! Used them starting at 8 months. Pregnant now and I'll definitely be doing the same again." (3 upvotes)

The hidden vegetables in every meal get specific appreciation from parents of selective eaters:

  • "I do love there's a hidden veggie in everything. Makes me feel good he gets something when he goes through stages of refusing." (2 upvotes)

Customer service is also called out as genuinely good:

  • "My shipment shipped to a wrong address, total my fault, and without hesitation they made a whole new order and sent it out." (2 upvotes)

What's not good?

The toddler plates are where the complaints pile up:

  • "The toddler plates are bland af and while they're fine for exposing your kid to things, it's a total waste if your child has a refined palate." (8 upvotes)
  • "When I went back to look at Little Spoon after I started cooking for my baby, I realized how simple and bland the meals are." (2 upvotes)
  • "There's far too much pasta served — and it's not good pasta." (4 upvotes)

The packaging also puts some people off:

  • "LS was gross, I didn't like how it was vacuum sealed and stuck to the food and it honestly looked way way worse compared to the images on the website." (5 upvotes)

And cancellation is reportedly a headache:

  • "I recently saw a post where they are notoriously difficult to cancel." (7 upvotes)
  • "They are." (3 upvotes)

Is the plastic packaging safe to microwave?

This is the most discussed safety concern in the threads:

  • "I personally don't trust any plastic in the microwave or for hot stuff in general to be fully safe. I'd just start transferring the meals to a glass bowl before warming." (122 upvotes)
  • "I never microwave plastic. 'Microwave safe' just means it's not going to melt, it doesn't mean there won't be any microplastic leaching." (89 upvotes)
  • "We get Little Spoon meals for my toddler. I remove the food from the plastic and put it on my own ceramic plates, and microwave it that way." (65 upvotes)

Transfer to glass or ceramic before heating — this comes up enough that it's basically non-negotiable advice from the community.

Anything else worth knowing before buying?

A few things that caught people off guard:

  • Meals go bad within 7 days of delivery — freeze immediately if you're not using them right away
  • The oatmeal bars contain honey — not safe for babies under 12 months "Watch out for the oatmeal bars. I think they contain honey!" (9 upvotes)
  • Nutritional balance concerns raised by at least one pediatric dietitian — heavy on fruit, light on protein in some of the purees

What's the best alternative?

Nurture Life comes up most consistently as the better-tasting toddler meal option:

  • "Totally had the ick too with biteables and plates from Little Spoon. We use Nurture Life for both our kids and looooove it. The food legit is good. I order extra kids meals for myself sometimes." (3 upvotes)

Other options people land on:

  • Serenity Kids -> highly praised for protein and meat pouches with clean ingredients
  • Cerebelly -> strong reviews for nutrient density and iron content; available at Target
  • Once Upon a Farm -> positively mentioned; available at Costco and Target
  • Beech Nut -> budget-friendly glass jar option praised for simplicity

Soma stopped making my favorite bra. Is Felina any good?

Soma’s Stunning Support bra became my favorite years ago. I know it’s designed primarily for larger busts, but it puts the girls precisely where I want them to be: facing forward, not spilling out towards my armpits. They’ve started making something similar, but it’s hard to find in my size, which is 34C.

Felina lately has been marketing in my direction, but at a much lower price point. (Soma was always pretty high priced in my opinion, but their bras last for years, or at least used to.) Is Felina any good? If not, what’s comparable to what Soma used to be?

Hill House Home and the nap dress - still worth buying?

Is the Hill house nap dress actually flattering?

Genuinely the most debated question in the threads

People who love the nap dress silhouette:

  • "I find them awesome for when you don't want to think about what to wear but still look put together and comfortable. I wear them to work with a cardigan, to the library with my toddler, or a linen one on a blazing day in Disney." (1 upvote)
  • "I could wear it for so many things and it fit me before, during and after being pregnant." (1 upvote)
  • "I love them for pregnancy, postpartum and breastfeeding." (15 upvotes)

People who don't:

  • "Everyone thinks the dresses are flattering on them but they make you look 10lbs heavier and like you're wearing a tent." (52 upvotes)
  • "I tried on some dresses at a sample sale and I felt like a tube of toothpaste at the waist and the rest made me look GIGANTIC." (15 upvotes)

Is the elastic deterioration thing as bad as people say?

Yes — and it's the complaint that follows the brand everywhere. Both of the most upvoted comments in the whole discussion are about this:

On dresses:

  • "Almost all of my HHH dresses are ruined because the elastic smocking straight up rotted — some of them I had never even washed." (32 upvotes)

On bedding:

  • "I paid $500 for a bed set and the elastic in the fitted sheet disintegrated after less than a year. It was on a guest bed too so I probably washed them 3x total." (52 upvotes)

Has the quality gotten worse over time?

Early adopters and recent buyers are having noticeably different experiences:

Early buyers:

  • "I have their old pieces and they are way better than the newer." (10 upvotes)
  • "I have 4 of them. Wash well, wear well and are easy pull on old faithfuls." (2 upvotes)
  • "Mine was from launch launch — before inevitable heavy enshittification from PE." (1 upvote)

Recent buyers:

  • "The brand is gonna die out once this look fades. With the recent price increase the value is just not there anymore." (10 upvotes)
  • "I have several sets of the pjs and all have holes in them. I have pjs from Target that are 5 years old and still in great shape." (2 upvotes)

What's worth buying and what isn't?

Worth it -> classic smocked dresses in timeless prints (tartan, stripes, gingham) especially if you're pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding; this is genuinely the sweet spot use case

  • "I got one and got my money's worth out of it so fast and easily. It fit me before, during and after being pregnant." (1 upvote)

Not worth it -> bedding, pajamas, towels, and novelty print dresses; these are where the quality complaints are most concentrated

  • "I paid $500 for a bed set and the elastic in the fitted sheet disintegrated after less than a year." (52 upvotes)
  • "I have pjs from Target that are 5 years old and still in great shape." (2 upvotes)

What's the alternative?

Secondhand Hill House is the most consistent recommendation — Poshmark and The RealReal are well-stocked and you avoid the elastic risk on new items:

  • "I love them — just buy them secondhand online though. Overpriced but always available on Poshmark." (5 upvotes)

On Quince smocked dress as a dupe:

  • "The Hill House one is noticeably higher quality. I've purchased both and ended up returning the Quince ones." (7 upvotes)
  • "You can get the same dress without the Hill House tag on Quince." (1 upvote)

Target pajamas outperformed Hill House PJs in longevity per multiple users — worth knowing at this price point.

Shark ChillPill thoughts?

Am i being pranked rn? I saw all the reviews and went down every rabbit hole to find out weather the shark chill pill was worth it. There’s a heatwave in London right now, I get super overstimulatted and hot in the heat so thought it would be a good investment so I decided to buy it.

PLOT TWIST… IT SUCKS. I genuinely dont understand why everyone is raving about it. First of all it’s £130? Genuinely dont understand why because the fan is not an ac fan.. I did know it wasn’t but I was expecting a bit of a better breeze from it. The cold plate is fine but essentially doesn’t do much from me. You constantly have to fill up the mister, it’s nice and cooling but I can do the exact same thing with a spray bottle. Also why is it sooo loud? I genuinely don’t think I can use it in public I would be so embarrassed. Even my friends are laughing at me because it’s so loud in the house.

They could/should have done more with it to justify the price. I see it everywhere and everyone is raving about it but genuinely am I being pranked because honestly think it’s a load of crap.

Save your money. Buy an actual ac fan
