Does this name work?

Does Elise Elizabeth “work” for a name?

We are wanting to honor my grandmother (Elizabeth) with the middle name as her birthday is the same month we are due with baby girl. We like Elise as a first name but my husband pointed out that Elise is a derivative of Elizabeth, so it’s kind of the same name for first and middle.

So would Elise Elizabeth be weird as a name?

ETA: Thank you for the honest and thoughtful feedback! This was our concern, so glad to know our thoughts are on the right track.

Baby girl name help please!

For baby girl due this fall…current options are:

Elise
Brooke
Brynn
Kara

Elise, Brooke, and Brynn are my faves, Kara is my husband’s fave.

Your favorite and why? Any associations come to mind for you? Other suggestions? I am majorly overthinking and second guessing everything 🤦‍♀️

Baby sister names

Looking for help with a baby girl name. Big sis is Paige. Looking for something to match the vibe of classic/modern, short and sleek, feminine but not overly frilly.

As a barometer, names I like include Nina, Eliza, Caroline, Elise, Grace. Husband isn’t in love with these names.

He likes Emma and Lily which I like as well (not as much as the names above) but feel we can’t use because of popularity and the fact that we have friends/acquaintances with these names.

Open to suggestions!
