Omg. I LOVE being autistic.

Just got told by my mom who ignores me that the reason she ignores me and my friends ignore me is more than likely because I’m annoying. Lmao that’s so funny! 29 years on this planet and I haven’t learned shit. I’m still the same annoying bitch I was as a child. Love that for me. FUCK.

Got a bill for emergency therapy at a place I’ve never been?

I just got a bill in the mail for “emergency psychotherapy”. I was billed for this around the same time I was involuntarily hospitalized in February. It’s a social worker I never met and they even live over an hour away from the hospital I was evaluated at AND the hospital I was taken to. I was in the hospital for 2 days already when that “session” was billed to me. I don’t think I should have to pay that? It just doesn’t seem right to me. If they were going to be billing for therapy I would get a bill for every single group therapy session in the hospital no? And I have been in the psych ward before and never gotten a bill like this from an outside service. How can I be billed for an emergency therapy session when I never met this social worker and she lives and practices over an hour away?

Aren’t we trained to handle concerning behavior or mental health issues differently?

An associate got called into the office today. At the beginning of the conversation the team lead told them they have been doing a wonderful job today and that they have had a VERY GOOD attitude since they came in today. They have been chronically ill and mentally unwell for months. They were told they did things they don’t even remember and that they have been “a lot”. They were told “even if you are faking it, keep it up!” In regard to their good mood today. They thought the team leads were checking in on them because they have been struggling when that was not the case. They were getting a threat of being written up. Not to mention a new team lead is talking to them aggressively, ignoring them, and rolling their eyes at them when they ask questions. I thought we were supposed to offer support in times like these?

Should I just let this happen? Should I give her control?

Hey so I have been struggling with mental and physical health problems a lot as of late and had to have a tooth pulled a few days ago. My mom refused to help me as the payment plan for a replacement tooth was denied due to me not having any collateral or anything like that. She said she didn’t wanna pay for it even though I said if she gets approved by the payment plan I will pay her every month to cover it. I got called a liar. Got told that I don’t pay back for things she does for me. Even though in the past she has said that me paying her can wait because I’m laying all of my medical bills. She used the fact that my friend is better at saving money than me as a dog yesterday in conversation. She also threatened to take over my bank account. I will say I am 29 and still living at home. Hoping to go to college eventually(I want to become an SLP some day)to better myself but honestly I am thinking about just handing my account over. She has threatened it more than once. I figure if I hand over my account info and my debit card she won’t be so angry with me and maybe it will help her burnout of dealing with me. I just want her to not be upset with me and feel like I’m failing. I figure maybe if I do that for her and let her control it maybe it will help and things won’t be so strained. Maybe she will stop ignoring me and yelling at me so much too. Also maybe it can help me get on my feet. Should I let her have control of my accounts?
