Triggering with 4?

My doctor is ok with triggering with 4 dominant follicles. Not all will necessarily be 18mm+ at trigger (they may be around 16mm-17mm with hopefully 1-2 18-20mm). I am leaning towards going forward with 4. Looking for any opinions as I make my choice?

I am okay with twins, I would choose selective reduction with triplets or quads.

I didn't ovulate with the trigger shot this past cycle. Any advice on what to advocate for next time?

I'm looking for any advice that anyone has. I have anovulatory pcos but no other diagnosed problems. My cycle was monitored IUI using letrozole. On day 17 I had two follicles 15mm and 16mm. They told me I didn't need any more scans and that I was cleared to trigger on day 19 evening, as the follicles would be ready by then. So that's what I did. I used a 10,000 IU HCG shot. Did the IUI 36 hours later, all went well.

Then 9 days past trigger I had my progesterone tested and it came back below 1 ng/ml, so it was confirmed I didn't release either egg. They told me to take progesterone anyway just in case (idk why, honestly there's no way I ovulated, so I'm not pregnant). and then do the pregnancy test 14 days post iui and when it's negative, we can try another round.

I just don't trust my body or my clinic now. Any tips for what to advocate for next time? :( For the past year we've had 0% chance due to me not ovulating and now I paid over 1,000 to have the same chances we always have, so this was upsetting. No one warned me the trigger shot doesn't work sometimes.

And the trigger was administered correctly, so no problems there. I just got my first negative hcg test this morning.

Looking for advice for persistent closed comedonal acne

Hi! I'm looking for some advice regarding my closed comedonal acne. I also wanted to start off by saying I am working with a dermatologist but her suggestions have fallen short. I just wanted to see if anyone else had any other knowledge bc I'm getting desperate. :(

I cannot use retinoids due to trying to conceive, so that is off the table. Differin has worked amazingly for me in the past. However, stopping the Differin is not the only problem because I'm now getting closed comedonal acne on my cheeks and forehead, which were not places I had acne on before and I have never used Differin on these areas or any kind of acne treatment. That being said, most of it is on my chin. So I do believe there's a hormonal component. I'm not looking for 100% clearance. I'm looking for improvement.

I have mildly sensitive skin and and it's dry-normal. I have to be very careful to treat my acne without overdoing it. I also definitely have closed comedones and have an official diagnosis. It's not fungal acne.

What I'm doing right now under the guidance I've gained from two different dermatologists. All of my routine has been doctor recommended:

AM:

Cerave Hydrating Cream to Foam cleanser

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Avene Cleanance Hydra Cream

Azelaic Acid 15% Gel - I have to buffer it or my skin does not tolerate it

La Roche Posay Anthelios Mineral Sunscreen -- Just started this, recommended by dermatologist due to it being so light and less occlusive

PM:

Cerave Hydrating Cream to Foam cleanser

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid Serum

Avene Cleanance Hydra Cream

Glycolic Acid 7% toner 2x a week ONLY - I just started this..Mandelic Acid did not work after a 8 week trial. Derm recommended trying both

I did just begin the glycolic acid so I'm willing to give the routine outlined above a shot for 6-8 weeks. I've also tried a mild salicylic acid was for 4-6 weeks which did not improve anything and honestly just made my skin dry.

I just really am at my wit's end and I even if I can get 50% improvement I'd be happy. It's just right now I've had close to 0 improvement. Any advice is welcome!

My lining is shrinking and I'm confused?

I'm kind of confused and haven't gotten much info from my doctor about my lining shrinking apparently? I took letrozole for my IUI cycle, responded and my follicles grew about 2-3mm between Monday and Thursday scans. My biggest is around 15mm, so I'll be checked again in a few days. The problem is, my lining? On Monday, my lining was a beautiful 8.5mm. But on Thursday it was measured 4mm. I'm kind of confused how this happened if my follicles are growing and responding. Has anyone else had this happened?
