Delivery Updates

Think twice before ordering from Interior Define: 8+ months in and I still don't have a usable couch

I want to share my experience so others can go in with eyes open, because I wish someone had warned me.

I ordered a couch from Interior Define last November. I knew custom furniture takes a while, so I was patient... but it took a full 6 months to arrive. Okay, fine. Long, but survivable.

Then it showed up with faulty cushions. They were dramatically softer than the floor model I sat on in the showroom. Like, sink-to-the-frame soft, nothing like what I paid for. When I reached out, the burden of proof was on me: I had to physically haul the cushions into the store to demonstrate they were too soft compared to the display unit.

They agreed to replace them... and the target delivery date for the cushion replacement is now at at least 4 months. And that date keeps slipping. Every time I check in, it's pushed back again.

So to recap: I ordered a couch in November and by the time this is (maybe) resolved, I'll have waited close to a year for the product I actually paid for.

My advice: do not order from Interior Define unless you're prepared for a 6-month-to-1-year timeline, the possibility of receiving a defective product, and doing the legwork yourself to get it fixed. !!!!
