Caitlin Sofa arrived! Ordered 5/1 delivered 7/23

Caitlin Sofa arrived! Ordered 5/1 delivered 7/23

As you can see by the cat hair, it is already loved, and exactly why I got the performance velvet. I went with the standard down, and I will say I’m a biiiit nervous I made a mistake and should have done the down alternative, but we’ll see 🫠 if anyone else did the standard down blend I’d love to hear about your experience!

Coriander and Sage: can I see your photos?

Looking for a new green sofa but need help deciding on the right shade!

Currently we have an IKEA Soderhamn that I customized with walnut legs and green velvet (very similar to Spruce in color, a darker green with a cool/almost blue tint). Not a fan of that cool tone.

We have really dark wood floors and plan to get a rug but I don’t want to buy a rug that clashes with the sofa.

Coriander’s tone is beautiful and I love that it sways a little brown-green while Sage is a true olive green I think? Let me see your greens! 🥬 🫒💚

sofa finally delivered! ordered 4/9, recieved 7/22

Recieved my Lee sofa and it was worth the wait! Just as I was about to contact customer service after imy delivery date was pushed from mid-July to early-August, I recieved the text to schedule my delivery for 2 days later. My delivery was then cancelled due to an inaccurate transit estimate but I was able to reschedule shortly after for today!

So far it’s comfortable, beautiful and cat-friendly (which is the main reason I went with Interior Define). My cat, who is a notorious sofa-destroyer has showed minimal interest in it and hasn’t attempted to claw into it (yet).

How did y’all get more info/ask for another refund?

I ordered my couch March 2. I got the “your order is on the way” email on May 17. I received the shipping fee refund on May 28.
Today is July 20. My delivery date has been pushed back what feels like a million times. Yall know the story lol. So how can I get more information or really, another refund? I do still want the couch I know I’m crazy lol. Do I just reach out and ask for it the same way I did for the shipping fee? Also I have been seeing a lot of yall on here that also ordered in march receiving your couches so I’m hopeful we’re not far from the finish line🤞🏽

Sofa ordered 5/21 delivered 7/21

EDIT: I typed the wrong month. Still a decent turn around but not as lightening fast as the original date provided.

Ordered the Maxwell sofa in fawn velvet on 4/21 and she came in 7/21. A few weeks ahead of schedule and the white glove delivery experience was excellent. I am located in the US.

The color is gorgeous, the couch is cozy but not as firm as I was hoping.

Sloan sectional arrived - smaller than expected

Ordered a Sloan Storage Sleeper Right Chaise Sectional in Performance Antimicrobial Chenille Bone with the bench seat upgrade, down alternative cushions, and memory foam mattress.

I placed my order during the New Year’s sale in January and it finally arrived July 15 way past the original delivery timeline, countless emails to customer support, and repeated delivery date pushbacks. It was honestly exhausting, so I was incredibly excited when it finally showed up.

The couch is beautiful, but I’m unfortunately really disappointed.

We replaced our West Elm Urban Sleeper Storage Sectional with the Sloan and specifically compared the dimensions before ordering because we loved how comfortable the West Elm was. The Sloan website advertises a 24-inch seat depth, which should have been very comparable. However, after measuring, the seat depth is only about 21–22 inches. It may not sound like much, but it makes the sofa feel noticeably shallower and much less comfortable for lounging with the family.

The seat cushions are also much firmer than the Sloan I sat on in the showroom, and several cushions arrived with visible dirt/discoloration and upholstery imperfections.

We’ve reached out to Interior Define three times since the sectional was delivered on Wednesday, sent photos documenting everything, and so far haven’t received a response.

After waiting six months, I expected a sectional that matched what I experienced in the showroom and what was advertised on the website. Instead, this has been an incredibly frustrating experience from start to finish.

Has anyone else experienced the seat depth being noticeably shallower than advertised or the cushions being much firmer than the showroom model? If so, how did Interior Define resolve it?

Sloan Facebook Marketplace find

I ordered a James sectional in March and ended up canceling when the delivery was postponed to August/September. However, I just picked up this Sloan chaise sectional from Facebook marketplace and I’m very happy with it.

Anyone ordered from Vintara Design

Was looking at ordering the Sesann sofa from Vintara Design https://vintaradesign.com/ but am a bit skeptical. Has anyone ordered from there before, they say they're based out of Hong Kong. If so what was your experience like, did they communicate, were you skeptical aswell and if you bought from them, why?

Couch Finally Came

After months of waiting and many emails that got me no reliable updates/information, my delivery finally happened an hour ago. Scheduling with Metropolitan was pretty easy and I didn’t have any issues with them. They were maybe at my house for 15 minutes to assemble.

I love the couch but I don’t know if I could order from ID again 😅 Order date was 1/27 and delivered today 7/15.

I was also shocked to learn I was one of 17 deliveries in my general area today of up to maybe a 30 minute radius 🥴 My husband is wondering if ID waits until they have enough deliveries that need to go to one destination before they will deliver to metropolitan. I’m sure we will never know ~~🙃~~~~ ~~I did not ask if they were all ID orders! Sorry not enough coffee in me yet 🤪

Caitlin Swivel Chairs

The two Caitlin swivel chairs that we ordered at the same time as our James sofa (Feb 15) finally arrived today. The fabric is performance vintage velvet in Blanc.

The pillows are overkill but the chairs are comfortable. Back cushion is a little stiff but I’m sure that it will break in.

Production and Delivery Delays

We ordered a banquet back in early February with an expectation of 2-3 months until delivery. It is now Mid-July and we still have not received the items. Finally, I got the notification that the furniture has arrived stateside, and got the delivery notification last week. Since the notification, the delivery company has cancelled twice citing that the truck broke down, and this time there was an emergency. At this point, this could be the best banquet in the world, and I would still caution anyone from ever using this company. Their automated emails make you think everything is on time, when the reality is it will be double the amount of time originally quoted. Fingers crossed there are no other issues with the items.
