Koga Miyata WorldTraveller

I scored this beast in the local classifieds for 80.-
I pick it up on Thursday so I haven’t seen the serial number yet, but I think it’s a 1987 model.

Expecting to have to put a bit of elbow grease into it but it should come up nicely.

Ferraroli

Custom built silver brazed Columbus SLX frame from late 1988 / early 1989. original paint work.

Trying to decide what direction to take it. I want to slightly modernise it. Thinking of trying to fit a 10-speed Ultegra 6600/6700 groupset on it because I like the silver. Turns it takes a French threaded BB which complicates things a little but I think I have a working solution.

I’ll post the final build when it’s completed.

First photo is the frame after the stripdown and slight clean. Second photo is how it found it.

I don’t know any details but it was spotted in a car museum in Europe today. Would have been quite a bumpy ride. Saddle looks nice though.

Not sure if there are any subs for steel framed bikes from the mid nineties so am posting it here. Mods can delete if needed.

I picked up this canary yellow Ferraroli road bike and am amazed with how well it rides.

Full Campagnolo Record components and Columbus tubing (I think).

This one is a keeper!
