When will SFT60 5000K become available in Convoy flashlights?
I still have L21B with SFT42R 5000K in the cart, and the only reason I had not pulled the trigger is that SFT60 become available as an option. I read great reviews, but I swore never to get another flashlight with CCT above 5000K after buying from Sofirn.
Don't get me wrong, IF22A is plenty useful for it's purpose, and HS21's flood is a CRI monster at 5000K, but since I have a choice with Convoty, I decided to go warmer.
Favourite emitter ever so far is SFT70 3000K, and until 4000K R95 comes into mass production, and Simon starts offering them, I'm not going to purchase any more "smaller" flashlights. But, I had promised myself a thrower that in theory can reach over 1km, and that was L21B with SFT42R. Ok, it uses 10A, and heats up quite a bit, but... As far as I read from the reviews, at 15A, SFT60 does not produce that much more heat, but produces a lot more lumens, has greater compatibility with secondary optics, at the cost of only a handful candela, compensated for by wider hotspot.
Anyways, as the title says, any news for sft60 5000K?
And do you think i should just but L21B sft42r? It's not cheap to me considering I plan on expanding my collection of Convoys.
