Do not ever ignore red flags, no matter how much you love them
I just to say something I wish I would’ve been told before I dated this girl. Do not ignore red flags. Things like a crappy family, yelling, bad temper. Little things that seem like you could change because you love this person. DO NOT IGNORE THEM.
This girl cheated on me after I kept ignoring red flags because I thought I could make her into the girl I deserved. Although people are able to change, you cannot make someone change.
I wish someone would’ve told me this and I would’ve listened. Now I have to live with depression, anxiety and feelings of worthlessness.
I understand this is something that feels obvious, but I think when we’re in the moment, when we’re in love, we act blindly
I just wanted to leave this out here because the only good thing that came out of this relationship for me is that I now know to not ignore red flags. I wish I would’ve instead just read a post instead of wasting 5 years of my life
