Hi all

I’m in N Texas .

House was built in the 60’s with pier and beam

Every fall and winter, I have signs of rodent digging in to my foundation

Is there a good solution?

So yesterday I got around to attempt to clean my vanos check valves (not the solenoids)

I have never done it

I had the car since 99k miles

It is now 210k miles

I took of partly the wheel plastic covers

I was able to only take the top one off

I loosen both of them, the top one came out after fully loosening

The bottom one…I fully loosen, but it was stuck in that position and stuck to the engine

After fully loosen, It sat flush with the surface, I could not grab it

How did you all manage to get it off, If you ever done it ?

Also it is a fucking pain the ass because you can’t see them from the top

When I was messing with it from the wheel well, my own hands blocked the view , and it is hard to see also from there
