Has anyone had experience with VNS devices for post concussion syndrome symptom relief? I’m struggling with autonomic dysfunction related to PCS and was reading that it’s one of the things that could help. I am a bit skeptical with the format of some of the ads that I see, seems a bit gimmicky so I’m not sure if I should spend the money on it. Sort of seems like one of those “cure all” scams.

I had a minor concussion in August of 2024. Hit the right side of my head while getting into a car, no loss of consciousness. I seemed to heal rather quickly, but my symptoms reappeared when I started to exercise again. I saw a neurologist with a sports medicine background, and followed a plan to gradually increase my heart rate during workouts pushing the onset of my symptoms. This seemed to work well, I successfully ran my first half marathon about a month ago. But recently I’ve been under a lot of stress at work and emotionally in my personal life, combined with a lack of sleep. All of this seems to have brought back my symptoms which is extremely frustrating just when I thought I was out of the woods. I stopped seeing my neurologist and attending vestibular physical therapy about 2 months ago because of how much I had improved, but I feel like I’m back where I was a year ago. Wondering if anyone has had any similar experiences and or advice for symptom management.
Hello all, maintenance question on my 16 Forester (142k). Recently had all struts replaced earlier this year, shortly after I noticed a popping noise when reversing and turning the wheel coming from the front wheels. It almost sounds like something is binding and releasing, pops once when backing and turning, then once more when turning in the opposite direction going forward. After that, no noises. I had CV shafts replaced shortly after to see if that would fix it, still no dice. Both front lower control arms have also been replaced. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
