Fireclay v Stainless Steel Sink

We have a Kohler stainless steel workstation sink in our current home. It has a ton of scratches on it, but it’s stain resistant and overall we’re happy with it. We’re considering a Kohler fireclay kitchen sink for our new home which will have a more traditional style. I’ve never had a white sink before but I’ve seen several that are stained and/or chipped. Would love to hear your thoughts on fireclay v stainless steel and/or other materials (cast iron, composite granite, etc). I don’t like to use a basin rack in my kitchen sink, even though I know it can protect the sink from wear and tear.

I took my 20 month old to the ophthalmologist this morning and unfortunately she needs to start wearing glasses. Her prescription is -7 in both eyes. Has anyone’s toddler been diagnosed with a similar level of nearsightedness?

Would love advice on which glasses brands are most durable and how to get her to keep them on. She had her eyes dilated and was very fussy during the exam so I also wonder if it’s possible that the results are inaccurate (the doc said it’s not and her vision won’t improve, but could possibly worsen over time, lol). Thanks in advance!
