I GOT SCAMMED

I GOT SCAMMED

The landlord really went all in on the millennial grey WALLS, CHAIRS, AND COUCH it's so sad to look at every day :( So I ordered a cute green herringbone couch cover blanket from FUNNYFUZZY months ago only to find out it was a scam site, I didn't do my research and turns out no one ever gets their order. I'm still trying to get a refund but they don't reply 🤷‍♂️

SO I need advice on how to brighten things up cheaply, there's a matching armchair too!

Is this a job I can do on my own? Moldy grout and old moldy silicone caulk

That brown grime in the last photo doesn't come out with scrubbing or multisurface cleaner. And I'm wondering if I should tackle the caulk on my own, its separating all around the floor/wall.

It seems like the last tenants tried to do it but obviously its lifting up and moldy

Also there is no airflow in the bathroom at all so that should be the main reason for the mold, any tips for that? Really appreciate it!

Clean gross plumbers putty?

Is there any way I can clean this old plumbers putty

without causing leaking? It's such an eyesore, looks like mold and grime and it's embarrassing when guests come over.

It must have been there for years and I only moved in recently, is there any way I can get rid of this gunk?

Grout/Caulk/mystery stains?

Moved into a place that hasn't been deep cleaned in who knows how long and the landlord is basically unreachable 🤷‍♂️

- The brown stuff around the sink hole and faucets is impossible to get off I've used multisurface cleaner/bleach/pink stuff/dish soap

- did research on recaulking the shower so I think thats all I can do? But pls 🙏 let me know if there's any other way to fix the silicone

- and then the brown moldy grout wont come out

Any advice/tips on how to tackle this are welcome I'm sick of seeing all this grime!

Does anyone find that Concerta dampened their tinnitus?

I've had tinnitus for 3 years and started Concerta about 2 months ago. I noticed that for me when it kicks in my tinnitus volume goes down significantly and comes back to normal when it wears off.

When I take a ritalin booster its gets much much worse so I've stopped taking that. But interestingly the Concerta would dampen the tinnitus effects of the Ritalin from the evening before.

Weekly or fortnightly breaks?

Does anyone take a break once a week or every other week? Like a Sunday reset/rest day for example?

I just took 2 days off Concerta because I'd been taking it everyday for over a month during exams and I started to feel a bit shortness of breath and tingly face, plus I got a cold and my tinnitus went off the charts (though that was caused by my ritalin booster that i stopped taking 2 weeks ago, and it can take a while to go away) so my stress levels were high and I just felt i needed a few days to rest and recover and give my body a break from being in go go go mode.

The tinnitus went away (back to my default that ive always had) and when I started back the shortness of breath and tingly face was gone.

So I'm thinking of taking a Concerta break every other week/weekend or so to avoid those side effects.

And related question does anyone 'rest' on days you take concerta? Are you able to have real recuperating/guilt-free rest or do you need to be off it for that?
