Hello new agency owner here! I’m trying to build a lead-gen engine for my automations agency.

I want to tap into the Australian market and am considering doing cold emails.

However, after some research I found that the laws for Australia and cold email is way stricter than in the US. Particularly, the clause on consent or where you got the email in the first place.

Since Apollo doesn’t necessarily mean that the person had their email publicly available, consent is questionable when I source my leads there.

Some questions I have:
- Are there alternative ways source to leads that meet the criteria for consent
- Is cold email in Australia viable given the laws in place?
