How are people affording All Clad without paying full price?

I've officially reached the point where I'm tired of replacing pans every year. No matter what I buy, they always seem to end up scratched, warped, r the nonstick coating starts wearing off. I cook almost every day, so my cookware gets a lot of use and I'm starting to think I'd rather buy something that's built to last instead of replacing cheaper sets over and over again. Everyone keeps recommending All Clad and from everything I've read, it seems like it's one of those brands people buy once and keep for years. The problem is have you seen the prices? I understand paying for quality but spending around $600 on a cookware set just feels crazy to me. I don't care how good the pans are, I still have a hard time convincing myself to hit the checkout button.

The problem is that the amount I spend replacing pans every year probably adds up to that price anyway if they really do last as long as everyone says but paying the full price all at once hits your wallet a lot harder. I really want them because I don't want to keep spending money on cookware that doesn't last either. I'm just hoping to find them at a lower price so it doesn't hurt my wallet too much especially with all the back to school supplies I have to buy for my kids in a month. That's not going to hit my budget very well.

OG purists need to chill with the constant negativity toward the remake trilogy

The remake project is solid but theres this vocal group of original fans who jump into every discussion just to trash it. They act like having updated graphics and real time combat somehow ruined everything about what made the game special

Its getting old seeing them comment stuff like the developers betrayed the fanbase or that nobody asked for modern gameplay mechanics. Then whenever any criticism about the remakes comes up they immediately go "see this is what happens when you abandon turn based combat"

The whole thing is just bitter at this point. People should be able to form their own opinions without getting lectured about how the 1997 version was perfect and shouldnt have been touched. Sure the original was great for its time but acting like improving the presentation and making the combat more engaging is somehow an insult to the legacy is just stubborn

Let newcomers and longtime fans alike judge the games on their own merits instead of immediately telling them theyre wrong for enjoying something different. The remakes have their own strengths and the constant doom posting isnt helping anyone discover that
