My and Dad and I were having a conversation about the current state of politics and what not, and we pretty much agreed that all of our current pol problems within the US stem back to the mishandling of the South following the Civil War. Case in point, all of the politicians who caused the south to succeed immediately were put back in power when they were able to.
I’ll go first:
Personally, I think the first two seasons were the best seasons of the whole show, being the only ones where it actually felt like the Cold War shifted to space, and the space race never ended, especially with the ending of season 2. Beyond that point, it just became sci-fi nonsense (although I still enjoyed the later seasons).
Finally got around to watching the show, and am currently watching episode 8. I noticed that the security room of the Severed floor oddly resembles the firing room of the Death Star
So let me preface this by saying I haven’t yet played the game. Need to, but haven’t yet. Anywho, I’m somewhat familiar with the lore of the game, and know that shortly before the game start, the military quarantines Knox County in an effort to stop the outbreak, something we learn ultimately failed, with the virus going global. Now my thought was that this could be a sort of red herring. In 28 days later, >!it is ultimately revealed that the outbreak of the zombie virus, which all of the characters had been told on the radio had gone global, had actually been successfully contained to the British Isles, and they just didn’t want the people there trying to flee and potentially spread the virus.!<So what I’m wondering is what if it is possible that the Knox virus was successfully contained to Knox County, and we’re just being told that everywhere else has fallen so we don’t try to breach the quarantine.
