I really want to get some highlights done for the summer but there are so many options for salons that I don’t know where to start.

I’ve never dyed my hair before and have light brown hair with natural highlights already but i think that having more blonde would be fun for the summer. Ive been scared to do it because I’ve tried so many salons (just for basic haircuts) and they all have something off about them so looking for someone tried and true, who loves what they do and are really good at it.

If anyone has any hair stylist recommendation in and around Vancouver who could do some highlights (honestly very willing to drive a ways away if the stylist is solid) that would be much appreciated!!

Just ended something with someone who seemed really into me at first but then pulled away and got distant. I realized we just weren’t aligned on what we were looking for and signals just got crossed. But I just feel so sad and rejected from the situation. Can’t help but feel like I just wasn’t enough for him and it’s hard to know that things weren’t reciprocated. Does rejection like this ever get easier?

So I’ve been seeing this guys for about 3 months now and things have been going pretty well. Id say we have good convos, banter, and keep in touch pretty frequently (texting throughout the week). I saw him last weekend and our date went sooo well and I felt like we shared some great intimate moments. When he was leaving he said that he “had fun today”, but then became weirdly distant the following few days. I feel really weird about it. It seems like his replies are getting drier and I’m totally in my head about it because I initiated the last hangout and I’m kinda getting the vibe he might not want to see each other again? Is that crazy? Another thing is that we met on a dating app and I recently noticed his profile no longer shows up so either he unmatched me (which feels really really weird) or he deleted the app… idk i feel myself pulling away because it feels weird but maybe it’s all in my head
