To my old friend,

It's been three years, and I don't know if you'll ever read this. I don't even know if you're on Reddit. But if you are, I hope this somehow finds you.

I just want to say I'm sorry.

I'm sorry I didn't believe you. I'm sorry I chose to be angry instead of talking to you about what I was going through. At the time, I was still broken from my first heartbreak, and my mind wasn't in a good place. Instead of trusting one of the people who had always been there for me, I let my emotions take over.

You helped me through so much. You were there when I was struggling to adjust to college life, when I felt lost after my first heartbreak, and even when I needed help with projects. You were more than just a friend—you were one of my people.

Looking back, I wish I had talked to you instead of pushing you away. I wish I had listened, trusted you, and handled everything differently. I can't change what happened, but I want you to know that I've carried this regret with me ever since.

I don't know where life has taken you, but I sincerely hope you're doing well and that life has been kind to you. Thank you for everything you did for me. I'll always be grateful for your kindness and the friendship we shared.

I'm truly sorry.

I hope one day you'll forgive me.
