all these talks about selling him in this sub.

i remember last season he was going head to head with nuno mendes before the injury. even if nuno mendes came out as a better lb, he fs was top 2 or top 3.

he has better recovery pace, and transitions. he still is one of the bests currently in quickly covering the space behind. he can stretch along the pitch pretty well and gives us the width and also breaks the lines carrying the ball.

yeah this season he has been a bum, a shadow of his own standard.

this might seem like a glaze to most of you but i think balde is quite good enough if we remove the shit housery he has done this season.

also he has many flaws. his balls in final thirds are not consistently elite. he often gets caught by the full back of opponent teams.

i personally believe he is not bad. he is closer to the young fullback who can be elite if he is given the time and space to work on himself rather than selling him.

our fanbase just reacts strongly because in this club imos magnify every single mistake. we should atleast trust him. we have seen worst of the worst player improve under flick. and balde isnt bad either, he is just having a not so good phase as a baller.
