Feeling sad

I am constantly feeling in between gratefulness for my child and a deep longing/grief for my second child. I had an ectopic pregnancy in march 2025 and thought we would conceive again by now but turns out IVF is our only option as the HSG showed my remaining tube is closed.

I feel so so sad and angry and feel like everyone else gets to have their 2 children (or more) and im left behind. I am happy for others but constantly feel like they have what I want. Im always wondering if there's a reason I cant have my baby while everyone else gets theirs. Its so hard and there's no one in real life who gets it or is going through this so I come to reddit to find people who understand/can relate and feel less alone.

No left tube. Blocked right tube.

I had my left tube removed in march 2025 due to ruptured ectopic and had an HSG today since it had been over a year of actively trying with no positive.

The hsg showed my right tube is blocked. Im devastated 💔

Has anyone had blocked tubes that cleared up somehow? Is my only option IVF? Im so co fused as to why my tubes would be blocked. I haven't talked to my doctor yet as I just did the procedure today.

Testing sucks

Every month when I get my period, I still have to take a pregnancy test to confirm I'm not pregnant because I had a period when I had the ectopic.

This sucks.

Should I do ivf?

We started trying in September 2024 and I had an ectopic pregnancy in march 2025 which ended up in emergency surgery to remove my left fallopian tube. I didnt even know I was pregnant which made it even more confusing.

Since then weve been trying each month and the past 6-8 months with letrozole. Still no positive test.

Deep inside I believe that i'll get pregnant naturally but now that its been almost a year of trying and it still hasn't happened...i'm just unsure if we should just do IVF now. We can do it at anytime as its a funded cycle, just nervous about it and dont know if we should keep trying or just go for ivf.

What would you do? Does anyone have any similar stories?
