Hello , I 25m gen eng male having around 3yoe aiming for isb for r3 most probably.

My profile sde 2 rn aiming for prod man roles

Clg -DTU(DCE)

10th -10cgpa

12th -90%

Clg -8.9 cgpa

What should be my GMAT aim most people say 700+

Apart from essays what else should I focus on ?

I don't have any outstanding extra curricular activities so will working as volunteer be fine?

Also what does 'leadership quality' means does that mean presenting leadership qualities in ur work??

And last question will isb give a valid salary jump?? Like currently I am earning 25ish lpa.

25M , Okay so what went wrong, earlier I used to easily get 1 like a day and wud match atleast 1-2 per week

But after some time and not finding anyone i decided to remove all the likes

Now I get absolutely 0 likes and 0 matches??

I thought I will get more since I cleared my likes

What should I do , should I remake my accnt??

Are u guys also tired of constantly trying to upskill everyday and it's not even upskilling in general it's studying same dsa lld hld everyday just for the interviews oas etc

Since 11 th this race is not ending first there was jee then placements then this Ai race and its fear.

For once I want to try new stuff make projects which I want, which is fun not because I want to learn anything or because I want to put it on my resume. Maybe try something new , read some psychology books , try skiing and so much different random stuff I have planned but this constant race everyday man.. , constant pressure of learning .

Not the way I imagined my 20s wud be.

I genuinely want to know people working as an Ai engineer what do u do , how is ur daily life and sprint lifecycle/projects go.

Every job opening I see now wants exp in langchain/fast api / vector db etc. Is every company making their own llm models these days? And no I m not talking about giants like openai / anthropic etc they don't even have offices in India.

So what are AI engineer or full stack engineers expected to know all this .

All these banks jp morgan / Fargo etc have jds full of these requirements and I m sure inside they still have a 20+ yoe legacy MVC project that doesn't even build on ur local machine.

I also want to know some of the companies that genuinely have good mle work here in India , where actually research/ scaling ai systems are happening.

Hi I switched last yr to a new company in August of 2025 as an sde2

The company is very good and has lots of perks unfortunately the team i joined is the worst amongst and my senior manager is the most toxic person ever

So I found out from my manager that I may get laid off in the new upcoming wave , I have maybe around 15 days before the wave hits

Currently I m revising dsa from striver's sheet and then will move to lld

I have close to 3 yoe(almost).

In this company I worked on the shittiest and the worst legacy project -.net and wcf stuff

My tech stack includes c# (.netcore majorly) , react , some golang as I worked on golang APIs here as well

Earning around 24+ctc

Just wanted to know what should be my plan , what all topics should I cover

And should I learn about AI , I don't think I have much time left for that so I can't learn something new right now

Which all companies should I target and from portals should I apply.
