First rewatch since release. Mid season 6. How did I not appreciate Andy the first time around?! Some spoilers

Hello,

Mid season 6 so no further spoilers please! Also brand new to this community so this may be common but I wanted to share before reading into it much.

I hardly remember my first watch. It was when it was airing on TV and I don’t think me at the time (20ish) thought about Andy more than just being the token cop.

Watching now, homie is seriously towards the top of my list.

Started out as a jerk, and did a pretty excellent job playing it believable. He was also still a bit humble and a fun character to have around. I never was annoyed with his screen time like some others.

The Bromance mid way through was honestly fucking incredible and I completely forgot about it. That was my favorite part of all of those seasons. I enjoy Jason being involved since I find his character pretty funny.

Growing up with folks who had addiction problems, that was also carrying the show for me. He felt relatable, then felt sorry for him etc.

Then the whole kids. I remembered the girls but not that they were Andy’s. This was also really good (for as long as that lasted) I absolutely loved his panic state each time they grew and or the scenes switched and he was mega dad mode.

I semi remembered the daughter’s fate but this time around I was pretty shitty because I was throughly enjoying the dynamic. As a parent this was HILARIOUS and honestly terrifying when I stopped and thought about it.

This is where I am right now. I’m really missing the dynamic but looking forward to more Dad Andy.

TLDR: didn’t think twice about Andy first watch. Fucking love the dude this time around as an adult.

What are the different ways people burn down bosses? (Summons)

Hello all,

Second playthrough, really enjoying summoning people for bosses. It's pretty interesting to see the different ways they absolutely delete bosses. Some naked, some dual sword, some magic.

I'd like to do this at some point for others who may be struggling with bosses, also to get my character ready for the DLC.

I know its mostly a confusion game (i think), but there is definitely different ways people buff to burn down bosses.

What are the go to ways? or your favorite. (I know situational dependent on resistance etc)

Also if the job doesn't get done the first time around, how do you keep pressure or reapply confusion?

Curious on what ninjutsu / magic is hotbarred etc.

Currently doing ninja claw / dual sword + spear / sword. I do try to work the extraction and look for gear with added effects with absorb to match.

Wife rolls her eyes when I say hi to our smoke alarm friend

Currently in a hotel room with my wife and my smoke alarm homie. Every time we come back to the room I say hi to them and she looks so done with me.

Is there a type of death in the movie that you still wince / turn away from?

Hello all,

Been watching horror for probably 35 years now. Not much phases me anymore in terms of movie violence.

Except! I absolutely wince / cover anytime someone reaches into a garbage disposal or blender.

Not sure what / where but I feel like i saw a movie as a kid that caused this. Someone’s hand getting absolutely shredded by them. (Maximum overdrive maybe?)

Are there any things you horror movie vets still turn away from or have trouble watching?

Edit: Just remembered Saw 2 Needle scene. Lets add that to my list.
