Youtube and full audio books - renamed and stolen

Here’s a PSA for authors.

So a fan of one of my stories asked when book 2 was out and that they enjoyed listening to it on youtube.

I was a bit confused as I don’t have anything on youtube (or so I thought).

They gave me the link and sure enough the full audio books were uploaded under different names and even different “accounts”

If you’re a writer, good luck searching through youtube under 20 dif things. I even flagged one that was 100+ hours of audio someone hosted illegally.

Youtube was quick to take down once the publisher got involved but I didn’t realize I’d spend some time today searching youtube for pirated versions of audio.

What was crazy was how many comments some had saying how much they loved the stories and couldn’t wait for the next book (across multiple stories).

Just a little PSA

Book 3 - Battle Through the Nine Realms is out!

Book 3 is finally live on amazon and audible! Ty for everyone who waited patiently for me on this.

I still can’t believe how long it took(and book 4 is mostly plotted with a few chapters written)

Blurb:

Einar has done what many thought was impossible and earned an alliance with the elves of Alfheim.

Now Odin has a new quest for him, go to Nidavellir, the realm of the dwarves. His task remains the same, build an alliance and find a way to stop the coming of Ragnarok.

However, the dwarves have no reason to trust the Vikings. For generations, Midgard has failed to honor the old promises between the realms and the dwarves have paid the price.

Einar and his warband need things that can only be provided by the dwarves, but they won’t oblige simply because he asks.

If Einar wants their aid, he must earn it. Blood, battle, and proof. Giants must fall, mines must be cleansed, and old promises must be restored.

Can Einar convince Nidavellir that the Vikings are worth standing alongside again? Or will this realm of stone break Odin’s chosen before Ragnarok begins?

Voyager of the Seas - Alaska

My wife and I and our five children were on the Alaska trip the week of the 22nd through the 29th.

We’ve cruised on a lot of different ships and would probably say that the icon is one of our most favorites due to the family aspect of it

I will say that while the Voyager has received some upgrades. It’s still pretty old and staying in a junior suite. I was surprised at how the bathtub looked as well as the sink which had multiple cracks in it.

Some people complained about the smell of Sewage, and we noticed it on certain areas, but thankfully did not bother our room.

The food was probably the worst we had on all of our cruises over the last 2 years. We did main dining as the package isnt worth it compared to the bigger ships.

The time in Alaska was great. We made some awesome memories, doing whale watching, a train ride, and another boat ride in Skagway.

For Victoria we just took the double decker and went downtown. China town and the other area was a fun place to explore.

As a family with kids at range everywhere from 21 to 10, I will say that this ship does not provide as many opportunities for them to do things like some of the bigger ships that we have been on. There were still some fun opportunities that they took place with other teenagers on the ship, but just be aware if you are used to the oasis size ships, dont expect the same amenities.

Overall we enjoyed it. I’ll probably go with my wife and no kids down the road.

Common Sense! (Its Rare - We created a funny, cozy story!

Hey all!

Our pre-order is up! June 11th Ebook drops on Amazon (soundbooth doing audio atm).

Here’s the blurb!
Common sense is the rarest magic there is.

Pim Fudworth is broke, barely educated, and very good at being ignored.

Then he talks his way into the worst job in King’s Eat: Sorcerer’s Apprentice at the city’s most hated magical complaints department.

The work should be simple.

Answer a few forms. Fix a few problems. Avoid being eaten by the furniture.

Unfortunately, the Ministry is one bad review away from liquidation, and in King’s Eat, “liquidation” means everyone inside gets turned into office supplies.

To save the Ministry, Pim has to solve the impossible complaints the city has been ignoring for two hundred years, including a talking street sign with an attitude problem, a haunted tankard, a screaming cookbook, and one deeply unhappy bench.

His familiar is Brenaris, a furious little demon in a bespoke suit who is contractually forbidden from letting Pim get hurt but considers kindness a serious character flaw.

And somewhere in City Administration, someone has spent two centuries making sure the Ministry fails.

Pim can’t fight, can barely cast a spell, has no grand destiny, no ancient bloodline, and absolutely no idea what he’s doing.

But while everyone else is scheming, leveling, hoarding experience, or filling out the wrong form in triplicate, Pim keeps doing the one thing no one at the Ministry has tried in two hundred years.

He solves the actual problems.

Legends & Lattes meets Discworld's Going Postal in a cozy comedic LitRPG about found family, magical bureaucracy, bad reviews, demon familiars, and the quiet power of doing the obvious thing.

Cozy Fantasy • Found Family • Demon Familiar • LitRPG Comedy • Underdog Hero • Magical Bureaucracy • Fantastical City

Henrik and I came up with this crazy idea over half a year ago and have had a blast working together on it. We spent a lot of time laughing and creating a story in a world we think will help brighten your day and make you realize just how special common sense is.

We hope you enjoy it!
