25 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek vs 25 Mazda CX-50 Hybrid

I recently was in an accident in my 2018 Jeep renegade and it was totaled. I’m looking for a replacement SUV for that. I work from home 4 days a week and only put about 10k miles on my car each year.

With gas prices being what they are I am focused getting better mpg in my next car. I also have two small children so the backseat is important to be large than the renegade was.

Im reading so many mixed reviews for the Nissan 3cyl that it has me worried to buy one. However I love the look Rock Creek rogue better out of the two but that’s just looks. I’m also seen a lot of people saying it has no passing power which concerns me, I don’t drive like a race car driver or anything, but I don’t want to feel my new car struggling to keep up.

The Mazda looks super clean which I really like, I love the idea of a Toyota hybrid drive train and would be driving mostly city so I should get pretty great gas mileage. However I have heard a ton of grips about the aging infotainment system and the knob they use to control it.

Both are used the Rogue RC was a lease and has 7k miles for $28k

The Mazda CX-50 has 17k miles for $31k

Thanks for your help in advance.
