Something is off with my middle part but I'm not sure what to ask my hair stylist to get it fixed.

Hey everyone! I'm attaching some photos of my middle part and I'm hoping somebody in this sub has the experience to tell me what the issue is. I'm not looking for any sort of positive reinforcement like "oh it looks fine as is" because I personally don't like how it is at the moment.

I'm happy about the front of my hair, but the back/sides have always been something I'm less sure about. I'm wondering if I need to grow something out, get it cut a specific way, etc. I just really hate the way the side blends into the back without any sort of difference in layer or texture.

(Sorry for the weird pics, I just went through my camera roll to find angles where you could properly see the issue.)

Any advice/tips/wisdom is heavily appreciated!!

Little bit of info in case it matters.

(My hair is wavy and tends to get pretty frizzy, so I'll typically use curl cream and argan oil to defrizz it. The issue remains there with or without products, though.)

How can I fix my middle part?

Hello everyone! I'm relatively happy with my hair but recently I've been feeling that some sort of change is necessary.

Something about the sides isn't right, but I'm not skilled enough to know what it is. It completely breaks the look sometimes so I looked to find photos where you can especially see the issue.

I don't mind the front at all, and the back looks okay too. The problem mainly occurs at the sides.. I'm open to any sort of criticism or advice/recommendations though.

I'm wondering what I have to grow out / cut to have a nicer middle part. If anyone with experience could share their opinions it would be highly appreciated!! (Sorry for the weird backgrounds on photos, I just went through my camera roll and picked ones with angles of my hair visible)
