ONT and 2 Eero Pro 7’s. Wire “back hauling” main Eero to ONT and Main ONT backhauled to satellite eero.

I tried to explain this once before and it didn’t go well. I gained nearly 5-600 mbps by using the main WAN from ONT (On 10GBE port) to main eero AND backhauling the main eero to the ONT using the very last Ethernet port on ONT via 2.5Gbe port.

If you have a similar setup try it, I’m going to leave a picture of the main eero and ONT.

Why would this help? And I thought those ports were “dead” so to speak.

Hear me out. I don't think ALL the ports on the ONT are worthless.

So me being me i always try and tweak my set up. Nothing fancy. 2 eero pro 7s.

I have a galaxy s26 and I usually pull around 1200 down and 900 up.

I started to get fu ky with it, plugged my main eero in the regular way, but I also took a patch cord from the other 10gbe slot and stuck it into the very last port. Now im getting 3400 up and 2700 on average down.

Its REALLY consistent since ive tried it several times so far snd every time it's drops down to judt under two but when I have that main eero plugged into the ONT 2x over it seriously makes a difference.

Would this pass a next up trade in?

Do you think this would pass the inspection or am I in for a shit storm?
