Legit Check – TnT Industries Corporation Taiwan Job Offer Without Interview

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to get some insight regarding a job offer from TnT Industries Corporation in Taiwan.

My friend applied for a position called "Application Customer Service" and recently received an email stating that she had already been selected for employment. However, there was no interview, phone screening, video call, assessment, or any other form of evaluation before receiving the offer.

According to the email:

• Salary: NTD 33,000/month • Company-provided accommodation • Meals provided when working at the factory in Taoyuan • Training before final department assignment • Possible placement in either the Quality Control Department or Application Department

The email was signed by someone named "Aashir Azhar."

We're trying to determine whether this is a legitimate employment opportunity or a potential scam. The lack of an interview before being selected is what concerns us most.

Has anyone here:

Worked for TnT Industries Corporation in Taiwan?

Applied for a similar position?

Received a similar email?

Know if this hiring process is normal in Taiwan?

Any information or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Currently in my rendering period (15/30 days) and still completing clearance. I attended a company training, but there was no signed training bond or contract—only a memo.

Problem: I’m currently in my 30-day rendering period (about 15 days in) and still completing clearance with my employer.

Context: I was sent for a training abroad as part of my job. The company provided around ₱25,000 for the training expenses. However, at no point did I sign any training bond agreement or contract stating any required tenure or repayment obligation. There was only a memo, but nothing that I signed or explicitly agreed to that mentions a bond, duration, or penalty.

Now during my resignation/exit process, they are suddenly enforcing a “training bond” of 2 years and 6 months, and saying I am required to pay back the ₱25,000 if I don’t complete it. I have already served around 7 months after the training.

This is the first time the specific bond duration and repayment requirement are being clearly presented as an obligation during exit. It was never formally discussed or signed before I attended the training.

My questions:

Can a training bond be enforced in the Philippines if there was no signed agreement or contract acknowledging it?

Is a memo enough to legally bind an employee to a 2.5-year service obligation?

Since I have already rendered 7 months after the training, does that have any relevance in case they try to enforce repayment?

Can they legally hold clearance or final pay over this?

I’m trying to understand whether this is actually enforceable or if it only applies when there is a signed and agreed-upon contract before the training.

Any legal insight or similar experiences would be really helpful.

Edit: Memo is missing.
