So far, I like Fluid 100 by Speedball. I like it's smooth buttery texture. Others don't seem as smooth. I was disappointed by roughness of a different brand. Does anything compare?
So far, I like Fluid 100 by Speedball. I like it's smooth buttery texture. Others don't seem as smooth. I was disappointed by roughness of a different brand. Does anything compare?
Today I tried a different maker's hot press 100% cotton paper. My favorite is made by Speedball Fluid. Speedball Fluid hot press is very soft and smooth. It accepts Crayola extremely well, almost soaking it up a little. Crayola goes on real smooth and leaves a slightly waxy finish like wax paper. The other stuff (New York Central) has a smoother side that still has some bumps on it. I'm probably going to give it away. I'm very interested in hearing other opinions. Mods, if there is a better subreddit, please move this there. Thanks in advance!
