learning sql quickly

My campus internship OAs are gonna take place after 2 weeks...I have like 10 days to prepare for SQL. I don't know anything about SQL or DBMS right now and my target is just to clear the OA questions (even if i am not a master of databases) which are mostly SQL based...i can devote 3-4 hours everyday (cuz i have to revise dsa as well, so can't be doing sql the whole day).
Suggest me what you did (cuz i am sure many of you would've been in the same situation) - one shot / article / question practice (i just know about the LC 50 right now) etc...so that i can get the max return in whatever time I have.

context: this internship is college-assisted and is for the 2027 summer...so, even i would have 1 full year to upskill before my actual internship begins - i just need to get in somehow.

Guidance required from seniors 🙏🏼

Hi I am a second to third year moving student in a tier 2 college and i want an internship..

I didn't work hard in these two years - like on and off but never consistently - my cg is ~9 and my cs fundamentals are strong.

Everyday I see people getting internships and it makes me feel confused - what even should I learn ? agentic ai? ML? if ML, how much? I can't risk everything and just study probability and statistics to the depth for a year only to get no jobs at the end...then there are people in "Analyst roles" at JP Morgan, etc or "consultancy roles" at KPMG,etc...i have no clue like what exactly do they expect me to do?

should I know webdev? .NET? and then there are people nowadays selling java+springboot courses...then there is cloud, devops, kubernetes, kafka and what not..

last but not the least - there is open source contribution, which apparently holds most value in ATS screening...ofc I can't contribute anything meaningful until I know something to the depth...I'm just so lost

PLEASE HELP ME OUT I need a direction.

...

my current skills: I am good in dsa/cp (but not that good ki I will outperform others in a PBC's OA by a good enough margin)...I am currently working on a really good ML project (collecting my own data from scratch for a real life problem)...this will be done by the end of this month...plus im learning SQL on the side cuz I figured out it's required for most roles - like everyone knows it...

what I have decided till now:

  1. keep continuing dsa/cp as it is, cuz it's the first filter for on campus internships.

  2. learn SQL - to the level I'm able to solve the LC 50 for SQL and implement it in a good project.

  3. Projects - PLS HELP ME OUT HERE - I've a bunch of ideas but they're all in different domains - some are low level/C++ optimization/low latency based while others are Web dev based like a good chrome extension with smart stuff...and then there are ML projects - but idk man I'm not the master of any of these - I don't know if that's alright or do I need to be master of one thing...pls guide me in this one.

  4. what about system design?

Renewal of Learners License

I had made a learners license last year and at that time, the address was J&K...I didn't make a driver's license back then and eventually the LL got expired.

Now, I'm in Punjab and want to make a Learners License (because I have a car registered here in Punjab now)...but the portal shows this message (which im assuming is because it can detect my old expired LL with the same aadhar card)

what should I do ?

Exchange Programs and Research Intern

What is the procedure to get a chance to study in some other college (preferably abroad like NTU or NUS) through PEC ? do we have exchange programs here? and how about the research interns at ISRO, BARC, DRDO and IITs/IISc

advice from someone who has done any of these is much appreciated.

Isn't PEC a CFTI?

I was looking at the institutions that IISc bangalore allows for their Masters programs, without GATE...and they've mentioned students from CFTIs with CGPA>8.5 are eligible without a GATE score...but seeing the list of CFTIs, I couldn't find PEC (I found many lower IIITs and other regional colleges).

is there a way that PEC can be added to that list? like by writing a letter or smth to the DSA?
