📚 Yet another book, or 📚

Well well a book I didn't know about, ISBN-1440501459. Had to buy it after reading 'Introduction and Original Story by R. A. Salvatore' The cover is done by Todd Lockwood. Is it any good, yet again I have no idea since it is in transit twds my storage. Hopefully I will know by september.

Do any of the Drizzt community know more about this first hand?

Here is the summary I found

Science fiction and fantasy is one of the most challenging--and rewarding!--genres in the bookstore. But with New York Times bestselling author Philip Athans and fantasy giant R. A. Salvatore at your side, you'll create worlds that draw your readers in--and keep them reading! Just as important, you'll learn how to prepare your work for today's market. Drawing on his years of experience as one of the most acclaimed professionals in publishing, Wizards of the Coast editor Athans explains how to set your novel apart--and break into this lucrative field. From devising clever plots and building complex characters to inventing original technologies and crafting alien civilizations, Athans gives you the techniques you need to write strong, saleable narratives. Plus! Athans applies all of these critical lessons together in an unprecedented deconstruction of a never-before-published tale by the one and only R. A. Salvatore! There are books on writing science fiction and fantasy, and then there's this book--the only one you need to create strange, wonderful worlds for your own universe of readers!,

ATG- releases

I was pretty emotional when the news reached us about Tompa, RIP. The single was awesome with the clear sisterhood of SOTS and I wanted so hard that the rest of the album sound the same.

Preorder of the album and I choose

● blue

● yellow

● orange/red

T-shirt as well. A thank you note and a pic of Tompa was also delivered.

Album didn't dissapoint me, I love it. 20th-ish listening now and it moves higher and higher up on my list of favorites

📚 Book question 📚

Some (many) years agon I visited a book store, 2nd hand, to increase my collection of Dragonlance, Forgotten Realms and particular The Legend of Drizzt.

On a hunch I bought this book

Does the subredit know more?

Seems to be 1st printing

Is it the first book to read If I want to start the Game of Thrones adventure ? Is there a proposed reading order? Is there a main story line

Thanks for the help

📫📚 Mail call - stoked 📚📫

As a teenager I was blown away by the stories. Me and my friends bought all DL & FR that we could find here in 🇸🇪 we shared the books and some of them could hardly be recognised as books 😝😂

If I could afford it I tried to collect them, read them as new. After some years the trilogies were released, big, heavy, clean covers with Larrys art ❤️ the fantastic Chronicles, Legends, Tales. The want was high but also the cost.

In the later 90s other interests took over and I lost track

Some trips 🇸🇪✈️🇺🇲 and visit to 2nd hand book stores had me re-fill some of the gaps. 2025 and I stumbled upon a redit thread of Drizzt soon the algoritm showed me more and Forgotten Realms and Dragonlance. One guy talpedagog about the fantastic re-read of the teenage books. I was drawn in again, now at 55yrs. A search in the book shelves a lot of FR was found and my prescious Dragonlance was still in front row.

Re-release of the trilogies ❤️❤️❤️ I have the money

- bought the marvemous white trilogies in PB (peguine edition UK)

- the latest black and gold

Hard to explain to my coworkers but I know that in this group I have friends that understand, feel the same, love being a nerd all about it

I have years of re-read In front of me 📚❤️
