How do I get into D&D?

I've been hearing about D&D here and there, and it sounds really interesting. I've tried getting into it before by making a character or looking into the worlds, but every time I try, I just get stuck and confused. So I was wondering if anyone had any advice/tips on how to get into D&D like are there any character templates I should try, online guides, or apps/websites for playing D&D? It sounds really fun and interesting, but also super complicated and I would really appreciate some tips on how to get into the game😅

For kids of divorced parents, what are activities I can do with my dad outside of the house?

I (16F) and my sister (20F) live with our mom (50F), our parents got divorced when I was 2 or 3 and my sister was 6 or 7, but my dad has been dating/married this woman (let's call her Amy) for 16 years, it's quite complicated as they got divorced in 2013, but are still together. Anyways, Amy had 3 kid before getting with my father, I'm not sure of their ages, but only 1 of them matters in this story anyway. Amy and my father also had a kid together, so the 2 kids who are relevant here are Lucie (fake name, I believe she's 13 or 14F) and Chloe (fake name, 10-11F), Chloe is the child of Amy and my father. I don't have the best relationship with Lucie and Amy, you see, I have autism and nobody on my father's side of the family I really understands what that means, but at least my father still treats me well, Amy has always been jealous of me and my sister (I forgot to give her an alias, so we'll be calling her Maddie) and I'm honestly not sure why, she's also extremely jealous of my mother, and is almost never around when me and Maddie visit my father, and when she is around, she treats us (even more so, me) much more differently than she does her kids. Lucie is also constantly pushing my buttons and making fun of me. The reason all of this is important is because it is the entire reason why I stopped going to my father's house, and only seeing him for breakfast and lunch, however, my sister has started to kind of resent my father because of this because she wants to spend time as a family even if it's just the three of us, and when talking about this with my mom, I stated that that's her problem to solve, not mine, but I might’ve been lying a bit because I honestly understand the way Maddie feels, and would love to spend a day with my father, however, I have no idea what we would even do, I'm not sure if this is the right reddit to be posting in, so if it isn't please redirect me to somewhere else, but if anyone has any advice as to what I can do, please let me know.

Help! How do I fix the way the lower lashes look?

I really like drawing eyes, and I've been really into this type of lashes lately (drawing them) but for some reason I haven't been able to get them right lately, the bottom lashes keep looking way too thick or weird. How can I fix this?

Mod Podge keeps peeling

I added modpodge onto my poetry journal to glue this piece of paper onto it, but it keeps peeling off. This is the second time this has happened. The first time it happened, I tried using a thinner layer, but as you can see, it still peeled off, would buffing the surface with sandpaper first make it stick better?
